Wow u got a nice Helmet bro, I am also planning to get a similar one.

U better take the bike to ASC n get it fix bro. Please can u post the mileage u r getting from ur bike? I feel mine is affected after that dumbf*** mech opened up the carb without knowing the actual issue with start up. Will b goin to ASC tmrw.

The onroad price was 74K but now it is 75k+...still better tahn other show rooms who charge 84/85K

There is a place called as X torque. near by outer ring road (near to the flyover at junction of k.r puram and byappana hali.)

Yesterday took my DRAGON for a ride.........



Just tok for a 50 kms drive TO n FRO.......... the idling was at 3k RPM.

I called up my local mechanic n asked wat happened, he said it mite be clutch plate problem......

I dnt know y do these people sell bikes without testing it............ when i took home it was fine.... now its giving this only problem........

when my bike was being readied by ASC mechanic, it was observed that idling is high. After adjusting the carb for some time, he fianlly opened carb and cleaned it with petrol. This made the idling to 1400

Thanx bro...... helmet costed 1300k and bike is amazing.
i filled the bike with 500 rs shell fuel n covered 75 kms and when it comes to reserve i wil let u know. rite now the gauge is showing same level at the time i filled......

Wil take the bike on Saturday to ASC. well im not crossing 40 in the meter. last i went was 45...

hoping it wil give good FE

This happened two days ago, at the time I was taking delivery of my bike..when the odo has zero KM on it.
so far I've clocked 50K..I won't be able to comment on mileage.

Guys,

I've not yet received service manual from the dealer. will get it in few days.
Wanted to know what is the air pressure mentioned in the manual. Dealer told me to maintain 35 at rearand 26 at front.
I checked the Hero website and it shows 22psi for both tyres.


can someone let me know what is the recommended air pressure as per the service manual?

Great info but Xtorque claims this as a permanent solution for punctures and guarantee till the life of the tyre.....
And also let us know isn't there any solutions to fix punctures in tube tyres??

Vinod, JC road will be daylight robbery if you are bad at bargaining instead check out ebay.in for gloves and other riding accessories. I bought a pair of gloves and riding shoes from ebay.in satisfied with the price and quality but for buying helmet I recommend you to go in person and check the size of helmet.

And regarding your plan to visit western ghats let me know when are you planning to visit?? We are a team of 8 members and plan a bike trip atleast once in a year

Regarding the air pressure, Hero recommends 22psi front and 22psi rear (with pillion 28 psi), I keep 24 front and 28 rear

In first fill, I got 61KMPL after 1st service when my bike refused to start, ASC mechanic opened carb n then mileage dropped to 46KMPL. Now also I am not confident
that it will give me 40+KMPL; will go to ASC again in a day or 2 n will get the carb/AFR tuned through a machine rather than manually.

I just wish mileage improves yaar.
