Oh! 125 is near about 8-8.5k RPM on the 150? That means 15 kmph per 1000 rotations and that is similar to 250R which does 16 kmph per 1000 rotations. I thought that 150 revs up faster and hence quoted ~9-10k RPM. Sorry if that is wrong.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

          I have done 132kmph at 10.5-11k rpm...
My friend claims to have hit 147, so I was aiming for that but the bike does not go above 132-133 as per my experience.

There are many videos online of people going above 140, one with a pillion. I think the trick lies in redlining gears, that makes it easier for the engine to supply adequate power, otherwise the it accelerates slowly. From my own experience, I didn't redline any of the gears and went to 121 easily. I think mine can touch 140 if I get a good enough road. I weigh 71kgs and had about 10kgs more in my back pack, and Icarus jacket too. A light rider and 150 seems quite possible, of course on speedo that is. I wonder what the true top speed of a stock Cbr150r is.

While my research on breaking-in, I read many people saying that not going hard might reduce the power, it'll be tough to find out all those pages. One was a guy telling about his Cbr600r which had more power on dyno than his friend's who went safe during breaking in.

I was thinking about redlining the gears.
Because without doing that the bike hit 132 with little effort.
It won't cause trouble if you do it once in a while, right?

^^ Once you have completed the run-in period of the bike be assured that you can do it more than once in a while

These bikes are gems and made to be thrashed all day long. You just need to know how and when to use it that way...

Rahulyo, I don't have that, but if I was you, I would go right now to my dealer. It is Sunday, it'll be crowded, and ask them to let me talk to their manager, sternly. If they refuse, I would create a fuss. Let everyone in the showroom know what they are getting when they buy a Honda machine. That should help, Sunday is the best day for this. Also, diwali rush, they will listen to you. Talk to the manager, ask him to replace the engine of your bike and give you the email ID of higher authority Honda personnel.

hey anyone had ne trouble with the front tyre at high speed....When i exceed 70kmph the front tyre feels like its wobbling a bit.....any idea what the issue can be??
Can it be the wheel balancing issue or a prob with the handle?

                              Tire pressures proper?

had checked that, that wasnt the issue.

Got the first servicing done!....bike roars after 6 rpm!!

they did the wheel balancing and the front spokes alignment and the problems gone most probably...got the bike today evening itself and hardly got to push the engine in the awfull traffic :| , will check thoroughly tomorrow!
