The BS4 NS 200 came with different suspensions. Earlier model, the one which I own currently, are little soft and the seat height and handling is impacted. Lookwise BS3 and this earlier BS4 model suspension are same.

Now, howeever, newer BS4 models are being given better suspensions. They have spring tension at the top. You can visually compare.(Much more noticable gap in the spring due too opposite tension). And the good news is they feel and handle better too.

Check out the showroom models and go for that one. I guess they are no longer selling old suspension. This is the only model you will get. You are in luck.

Also, they are a direct fit on BS3 models. I have seen one youtube video where BS3 model is fitted with BS4 suspension. Dont worry.

Same thing happened with my friends NS200 bike was sluggish and refused to accelerate beyond 6000rpm. Svc guys said carburetor should be cleaned they did it in general service but no effect was seen. Than after tired of getting terrible service gave it to a local mechanic who cleaned it thoroughly and NS200 sprung back to life.

Just compare both of them side by side for their dimensions, if they are same go with any of them. But i suggest stick to BS3 one as there might be some difference in stiffness. In most of the cases the parts are same just different numbers to differentiate between models

I was almost gone for conti go for its round profile & less pricing but when I saw the pirelli one i changed my mind as the look & its rounder profile completely locked myself with it.

The only problem i was thinking is fitting without removing any mud guards. They said either of those tyres will need the mud guards to be removed but PIRELLI with 140/70. Anyway i was decided to remove mud guards to have the pirelli fitted well. For my surprise they fitted the pirelli without removing any mud guards.

So guys is it normal or they did something wrong while fitting to have those mud guards? Can anyone share their thoughts on this?

    Thanks for your reply.

Yep the SVC guys are always lazy & careless. When i compared the new filter cap it didn't have those abrasion like grooves especially inside the cap.

I also had oil leak in front of the engine case like near where the silencer get connected to the engine case? Went to SVC, they said they tightened the engine case bolts & the leak is stopped now, no prob so far. You have any idea whether they are right about the leak?

BTW any way to differentiate fake & original MOTUL 10W50 1.5 ltr as hoping to buy from online?

Any feedback on bajaj dominar FS OIL made by TOTAL? Any one used in NS200?

If you find they are rough and spiky, then the scratches might have happened recently at your SVC or mishandling. Secondly, the oil leak can come from improperly torqued bolts oil filter cover bolts and also a worn O ring which your SVC might have overlooked.

Now that you've replaced your old cover with new cover and O ring, it shouldn't leak.

    Thanks for your reply.

Its unlikely that someone might have changed the filter cap since i was always around whenever the oil get changed out of SVC so far. May be you are right that something happened in the 2nd service at SVC.

Will be more careful hereafter [emoji106]

Without any accidents it is hard for such a cap which is located at quiet a height to get damaged. I have 2017 NS and have ridden over very major speed breaker but the filter cap is untouched.

Recently i came across a engine oil leak problem while engine running from oil filter cap in my ns200 - very little though. ODO 4800+ KMS - 2nd service completed. Changed the oil recently before 700 kms(Motul 7100 10w50 FS).
So I inspected the oil filter cap & found abrasion inside the cap filter edges/grooves. I have attached the pics here - plz check & advise me the caution for the same if you guys came across the same problem. I am sure my bike never fell down so far even once & no accidents so far. Am kind of confused now to find out the caution of those abrasions.
Any how today i replaced the oil filter cap with new ones alongwith the 'O ring' & it seems the leakage is stopped now - will have to check morning though.
    Awaiting your valable replies...
