Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Is there any after market rear mono shock that is a direct fit to the 200NS ? My rear suspension gave up and need to change the same. I was told the rear mono shock of Duke200 is a direct fit to 200NS. Is this true ? And do we have any other options to make the ride more comfortable.

Is it worth upgrading to NS 200 from Pulsar 180 ? Its my dad's 180 and I feel its performance is lacking as it doesn't have enough top end grunt.
I travel on the highway on the weekends and pulsar 180 doesn't have the power to do highway speeds.
Its does in 5th gear
70kmph @ 6000rpm
85kmph @ 7000rpm
95kmph @ 8000rpm and by 100kmph it hits a wall and doesn't have power to pull ahead.I have done a top speed of 115kmph going down a flyover.
I heard from a friend that the NS 200 does a 100 kmph at 6000rpm @ 6th gear and can reach speeds of up to 140kmph. Is it true ?
Is the NS 200 convincingly more powerful than pulsar 180 or is it only a minor upgrade in performance ?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
For the wind-blast, you can use any after-market visor. It will reduce the rate of wind flowing towards you, thus reducing fatigue. ex - I think old model Fazer's visor is a good fit as a friend already uses one on his NS200.Originally posted by OccasionalWanderer View Post
Has anyone taken any steps to make their NS more comfortable for the rider and pillion?
Of late (maybe I am getting old
), I get back pain when I ride the NS for more than 50-60 kms. My wrists and shoulders also ache. My pillion rider also complains of back ache.
Our last few bike trips have been painful to the body. While I am really happy with everything else about the bike, it is getting uncomfortable to use by the day.
For sitting comfort, you can use after-market gel/foam/air based seats for the rider and the pillion. ex - Ride-On-Air [ https://rideonair.in/ ] , Fego Float [ http://www.fegoinnovations.com/ ] OR you can get a layer of additional cushioning done on your current stock seats.
For wrist pain, you can add a layer of foam padding or after-market grips on your handle grips. For shoulder pain, i don't think there's anything that can be done other than riding with correct posture and stretching often.
Hope these help!

Re: Pulsar 200NS engine overheat symbol flashing continuously
My radiator was not consuming any coolant. The fan comes up after 8 to 9kms of ride and engine overheat symbol used to flash continuously. I got my radiator thermostat changed yesterday and issue is resolved now.Originally posted by xaypatil View PostEven I own the same model, in Pune traffic, radiator fan kicks in 4-5 kms is normal. Duke heats much more than NS.

I have a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2s for my NS. I got them online from a seller who had good ratings.Originally posted by AbhirathD View PostHey guys did anyone use Pirelli angle CT 140/70 on ns200?
When you purchase, check where the tires are made. Mine are made in India. The profile is the same as the international version. It also handles well. However, i think that the made in India ones are made out of hard compound. I have ridden about 15,000kms and the wear is very little. The grip however seems to be getting worse by the day. It has become a hard piece of rubber than the soft sticky tires I thought they would be. I have heard that the tires made in Indonesia have soft and medium compound.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In pulsar NS the horn is really low on right side....due to this it is prone to water, mud, grease etc and so are the wires connected to it.Originally posted by i_rock098 View PostHey guys need a little help. Suddenly today my horn has stopped working out of no where. It doesn't make any sound in pressing the button. How do i check what's the reason? And if I have to replace it how much does it cost?
My suggestion would be check if the wire joints are corroded and make sure they are connected securely and conducting current. Try cleaning the wire pins with petrol(make sure to turn off the bike) and see if it works.
If this doesn't work, Disconnect the wires, turn on your bike, make someone press the honk button and with a multimeter check if the current is being provided or not...if there is current then the horn is faulty, If not then there might be some internal issue.
If you want to replace it..it will cost around 300 rupees from OEM.
