Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
nadz11.ns : Thank you buddy ,basically i showed this breakup for all the enthusiastic s like us , so its not only On road price but and extra of 20-30 k for service and accessories,Originally posted by nadz11.ns View Post@classic.infinity.. Nicely done. The cost breakup is really appreciated. The list if things changed under warranty is quite long
Btw, i too am taking a interest in owning a bull. If things go as planned, will get in winters. Its just that being a yamaha owner for ~5 years now, the niggles list here gave me shivers.
and more over Royal Enfield is a like a brand of cloth people buy and then take it to the tailor and then customize it according to their comfort ,atleast thats what i believe, driving a stock classic is a pain in Chest :P [not the Chest technically].
Regarding the parts replaced in the warranty i must say we have to take the shame factor out of us and keep bugging them for small things like even a rust on the nut/bolt else they wont entertain you. you keep bugging you get the replacement : This is the Policy!
All the best for the Bull

Polish and silencer for my Classic
Hello
I have RE Classic 350 with 400 kilometres on the odometer. It has gone through its first service.I don't like its stock silencer and so I want to change it.I want to install a silencer which can produce more thump but the other owner of this bike says that its not good to change the silencer right now as it puts pressure on the engine. So I want to know when can I change it?My next query is that what is the procedure of polishing my bike?By this I mean should I first polish then wax?And which polish, wax and shampoo should I buy?
Thanks

Technically 3000km after you second service but there is no proof its causes engine. For the safe side plz do your proper runin 2000km than go for goldstar glasswool exhaust. I dont know about Polish n all but keep your bike away from water ..

Re: Paint
Approved and merged!Originally posted by nony View PostI want to paint my royal enfield classic in army camouflage color.
Is it possible???
Please suggest
No, you're forbidden to do the exact camouflage paint as the army by law.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Hello everyone, any one here using RE riding boots? Its 100% leather, not ventilated. If yes please share your riding experience in terms of comfort and during normal walking. Suggestions please..

My colleague is getting 38-40 consistently in city riding conditions which includes some busy traffic and open roads as well.Originally posted by nadz11.ns View PostGuys, what is the average mileage you get ?Last edited by Naveen1985; 11-14-2014, 10:14 PM.sigpic

Ohh wow.. These are nice figures and too in city riding conditions. Highway figures would be even better.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View PostMy colleague is getting 38-40 consistently in city riding conditions which includes some bust traffic and open roads as well.
I 'might' be buying classic, either 350 or 500, sometime soon. So the questions. 500's would be around ~30 then..
Ride safe and have fun.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
CL 350 will give you 42-43 kmpl on highway if you'll ride it under 80kmph but CL 500 will never give you above 30-31kmpl. Inside city it will hover around 27-29kmpl. One more thing, 350cc bullets are easier to maintain as they sip fuel through carburetor but 500cc bullets use fuel injection (except standard 500) which is a bit complicated thing and it will be hard to find a good mechanic for 500cc bullet in case of break down especially if you are on a tour or at a isolated hill station.Originally posted by nadz11.ns View PostOhh wow.. I can live with a mileage of about 30kmpl (my fz gives the same
)
And one last question brother, how is the performance of FI system of CL500 ?
Ride safe and have fun.
