To what i know all of the three mechanics are doing it the wrong way, engine oil should be hot(not burning) before draining, i would say refrain from this kind of practice.

Haii guys.. Is it true that the back pressure created by classic model's silencer will reduce it's engine life? Do we need to change to a bassy silencer to reduce back pressure and to increase the sound?

If the silencer is stock, back pressure will not be created. If you have changed aftermarket or done some changes to stock silencer, chances of increase in back pressure increases and will reduce enginr life.

Cheerz!!
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

Oh I am sorry but please refrain from giving wrong information. Back pressure would surely be less in less restrictive exhaust system than the restrictive one. So changing to a aftermarket exhaust which are all semi free flow or free flow types would actually reduce the back-pressure.

Hi Team,

I'am back with my 4th and final service update for my Bull. The service was done on the 1st of Sept and cost around 2000 rupees. Apart from normal servicing my rear brake pads were replaced as they they were worn out. I'am a bit apprehensive as brake pads were changed within 8 months/4000 KMS. Is this normal for a Bullet. Requesting assistance from the gurus on this. Post service my Bull is back to normal doing what she does best. Will come back with more updates later. Bye for now.

Regards

Shravan

Shravan my rear brake shoe usually last for 7000 kms safely. There is no definite life as it depends upon how much rear brake you apply. Usually front brake should be more in action

posting on a behalf of a colleague who is done with free services of his CL 350. what engine oil you folks are using ?
or layman terms : the best engine oil we can buy locally for the bull ?? he plans to get the servicing done outside as he is not happy with the SVC.
and the ride just needs an oil change for now.

1> Carburetor falls off usually as the screws holding the rubber which connects to head and carburetor unscrews them due to vibration and falls off frequently.
I have changed the Rubber but didn't work , so only solution is to tighten them frequently.

classic.infinity.. Nicely done. The cost breakup is really appreciated. The list if things changed under warranty is quite long
Btw, i too am taking a interest in owning a bull. If things go as planned, will get in winters. Its just that being a yamaha owner for ~5 years now, the niggles list here gave me shivers.

Ride safe and have fun.
