Now Proud owner of Classic 350 Redditch Red.. It's been 4 days & I'm in love with this machine. No comparison! Even with the weight around 62 & height of 5'6 bought this one without hesitating much. I haven't modified anything yet.. pls help me with your recommendation if any.
1.Do I need to go for alloys and tubeless tyres?
2.Do I need to go with wider tyres?
3.Silencer for the thumpy sound?
4.How to protect against scratching on fuel tank?
5. Any thing else I need to take care?

Thanks!!

Raghav congrats for your new bike ..reddish red do looks classy .. See it all depends on individual for modifications .. like alloys and tubeless .. first see does that suits you when you are riding . Does it suits bike ? If yes , go for it .. to prevent scratches and all you need to take care of your bike specially tank area section .. These rainy days you can use covers for protection .. Also you can use oxide Colors to prevent it from rusting ..
For wider tyres yes you can go ... See with the RE guy and ask him only which wider tyres are good mine is MRF zapper .. For exhaust this is the common thing now as there are many exhausts available on markets like shark, bottleneck and so on .. Again it depends on taste ... I haven't still changed my exhaust it's still my stock exhaust .. So you can check the sound with diff diff exhausts ..
Congrats once again and kindly show some pics [emoji10] [emoji7]

You can consider 3m ppf for the tank and I would not recommend changing the silencer as it will take a toll on FE and to tell one incident one of my friend purchased bullet and changed the silencer to a Rs800 one, I don't know which one it was and the bike was giving him around 15kmpl rest depends on you.

• Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences

I own a 2014 Classic 350 and I am facing an issue in what seems to be an electrical issue. I changed to a new battery about 6 months back and all was good until about two weeks back when the self start stopped working. The Neutral light blinks when self start button is operated but the bike doesn't crank. I initially suspected it to be due to a weak battery but the battery voltage showed it to be in healthy condition upon which i got the wiring checked. The service centre said the relay has gone bad and needs a change. I promptly opted for the change however it didn't end the problems there. The self start problem still persists when the bike remains idle for hours and during night time the headlight and all other lights flicker a lot indicating an electrical issue. The engine too stops while in motion once in a while. Can anyone point me what could be the issue as everyone in the last few days right from the battery vendor to service centre seem to pass on the blame to each other :|

Hello guys....

Are you guys facing any issues with ground clearance of classic 350.. is that sufficient....

And i came to know that there is no fuel indicator and we need to identify through reserve indicator only? Is that true...

The ground clearence is enough always while riding solo. While riding with pillion and crossing a more than avg height speed-breaker it may scrap if not throttled slowly.
Yes classic350 doesn't come with fuel-gauge, have to calculate with reserve mode and opening tank.

• Issue on first gear in classic 350

I bought royal Enfield 350 classic in March this year. I changed the engine oil by a local mechanic few weeks back. And since then, when I start the bike on 1st gear, the bike moves forward, as If the gear isn't functioning properly. Also in 1st gear, in ignition off mode if I push the bike, it seems as if it's getting stuck somewhere and making it impossible to move... After few efforts I am able to move the bike. Then it becomes free but at first it seems to be tight somehow on first gear. Not sure If the clutch wire is not right or whether the engine Oil needs to be reduced. Please help

Hai

There is not problem with your bike. You have to pull the clutch lever fully and then start your bike. Similarly in the case of pushing the bike in gear. No need to do anything it is the way our bike behaves. It is the bikes character so you have to live with it.

Cheers
