Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Guys. I own a classic 350 2014 model. My main issue is vibration . Not like usual vibrations in other classics. I test rode my friends bikes, and the vibrations are very less in their bikes. My bike ran about 33000 kms. What will be tha Probelm, engine mount, loose screws, etc anything like that? And also even in 60 km/h the engine felt strained.

there's a little doubt guys, the thump sound comes only at the start of each gears, when the acceleration reaches the end of a gear there is no sound of thump, only a sound like the engine is straining, like normal pulsar engines...

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
I had my brothers Classic 350 for almost six months. When Gun grey was released,I booked one and got the beauty home exactly 45 days before...
She has clocked 2500 kms now and yesterday while i was riding through the city,The rear wheel got completely jammed.I had to call Roadside Assistance of RE.Before they could turn up,The brakes cooled down sufficiently and released their bite.
After a slow.trip to the nearest RE service,I was told that there was a problem with a spring and was told that it was rectified successfully...
The next day again the brakes locked up and now after cooling down,I HAD NO REAR BRAKES..
The RE PERSONS DONT ACCEPT THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE REAR BRAKE UNIT..
They say that this was how it would work
...After two days of hard persuasion,The brake assembly was opened to find the pads completely fuzed due to extreme heat...
NOW HERE I AM WAITING FOR THEM TO SAY SOMETHING AND MY BEAUTY IS SITTING THERE IN THAT BASEMENT DUNGEON
RE AND
ITS SERVICE STATIONS -- ABSOLUTELY NO WORDS

Worn out Brake pads is due to the jammed spring (as you mentioned) or due to the habit of riding with a foot on brake habit.Originally posted by InFi View PostI had my brothers Classic 350 for almost six months. When Gun grey was released,I booked one and got the beauty home exactly 45 days before...

As brake pad is a wear and tear part I am afraid it may not be covered in warrenty.

If you are using the stock exhaust then it is very normal. if you want to enjoy the thump then be in the low RPM onlyOriginally posted by Gowdaman View Postthere's a little doubt guys, the thump sound comes only at the start of each gears, when the acceleration reaches the end of a gear there is no sound of thump, only a sound like the engine is straining, like normal pulsar engines...

Yup,According to my mechanic,The main brake cylinder that is connected to the rear brake pedal was at fault. It did not release the pressure once the foot was off the pedal, causing the problem. The main brake cylinder got changed after a dirty encounter with the RE service center who were reluctant to change it.Finally the faulty part was changed and the bike is back to normal

Hi guys, I have a doubt regarding the functioning of rear lamp+brake lamp combo. With the AHO , the headlamp gets on with turning the keys itself, but what about the tail lamp. It lights up while applying brakes but not regularly like old bikes on night times.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Hello friends, I am planning to buy an Re 359(either classic or bullet Es). Can anybody tell me whether it's seat height could be reduced? And what could be the expected mileage?
Also my daily office commute involves night travel 15 KMS highway without any population as also weekend rides of 400_500 KMS mostly at night. Can I rely on it that it won't break down at night?(Coz I won't be able to find a mechanic in those places.) Thanks.
