Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
There are many videos on how to solve tapping sound on YouTube. Have a look and then talk to service center. If you know nothing about repairing, they try to get as much money as possible.Originally posted by Darshangowda View PostHi guys
I owns classic 350 which cover 3700 km. Form morning I am getting tapping sound from engine .
I took bike to showroom he telling he needs to open engine head and adjust screw. Till tap sounds stop. It that correct way to handle the problem ..

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
If you are crossing 40KM on 3rd gear won't you be already crossing 3K RPM ? My bike is still running and starts vibrating if I touch 2750 RPM. Do you know how was the noise arrested? If something was replaced give it some kilometers to settle down.Originally posted by Darshangowda View PostHello guys plz reply .. why I am getting lot of vibration in 3rd gear when I cross 40km .

My pattern of shifting gear is as follows .Originally posted by lightpower View PostIf you are crossing 40KM on 3rd gear won't you be already crossing 3K RPM ? 0 to 1 gear shift bw 10km.
1 to 2 gear shift bw 30 to 40km
2 to 3 gear shit bw 40 km.
3 to 4 on reaching 50
4 to 5 on reaching 50 to 60
If too much traffic means will ride in 3 and 2 gear .
I am finding vibration in 3 gear when I try to reach 40+ in same gear .
I feel some unpleasant sound from engine like griiiii griiiii .
If I shift to 4 even in 30km bike wont vibrates .
I know RE bike are not vibration free but I have vibration in particular gear that to when I cross 30km.
I am not feeling comfortable in 3 Rd gear above 30+
Am I not following correct method of shifting gear or not I need ur advice

Please check your chain for proper slackness height and whether it is lubricated. The bike normally tends to vibrate more if the chain is having more slackness. The height should be between 20 to 30 mm only. If it is more than 30 mm we can feel lot of vibration. This can be felt only during the 40 to 55 kms/hr limit.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my CL-350 front disc brake rotors to 300 MM. Could any of you guys please update me what's the BCD (Bolt circle Dia) of classic 350 front disc rotor. I don't have access to my bike as I'm out of country.

This point you mentioned about the Unpleasant sound, sounds bad. Take your bike back to the RE service centre, talk to the same mechanic who fixed your bike earlier and take him for a test ride and point out the noise and vibrations and make him to fix it like how it was before.Originally posted by Darshangowda View PostMy pattern of shifting gear is as follows .

When you say vibrations you mean fast vibrations like when engine is really going fast or sower more jerky vibrations like when engine is about to stall.
Any other performance loss in engine, loss of power or lethargy in going top speed, etc?
