Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
No you can easily pull the plug without any problem - Might need little strength on the RH side . But not required to remove the tank . I don't do it so not needed.

I would like to clean my spark plugs, since i've been experiencing delays during ignition.
So watched one Youtube video, where they remove the cylinder and then removing the plugs and cleaning them.
do this can only be done by removing the tank ? no other ways ?
[PS - I really want to do it myself. so if anyone has done this before, please mention what all should i check and inspect before removing the tank ...]

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Guys I have one question
Morning when I start my bike it won't start in first attempt
Kick start is nightmare.
And there will be tapping sound from engine for 2 to 3 min later it will be normal ..
Is it a problem should I bring to service engineer notes

Assuming:
1. you are using the bike regularly.
2. the weather is not too cold around you.
3. you are not throttling the accelerator while kick start.
How many attempts does it need for the engine to start?
the tapping sound, does it go away if you slightly raise the rpm?
does the bike idle steadily afterwards?
does this happen Only during cold start or even later in the day ?

One Question, when the company is ready to offer 2yrs/20,000Kms warranty, why not take it and encourage their gesture?Originally posted by Rohan12 View PostNeed help
1. Should i go the SVC for the servicing or do it myself (i know a lot because of XBHP so that won't be a problem)
2. I am unable to find oil in 2.5 ltr should i go for 2ltr or 2.3 ltr and which brand will be good - Motul/Shell/Castrol/Valvoline/Mobil
3. And how to do drive chain tight in TB 350 (2016) as the parts(pivotal points on the LH side) are different from other bikes - need help
P.S - I don't care if the warranty gets void .
Thanking you in advance (anyone) who replies me.

Congratulations! do make a list of PDI points and make sure RE gets your details filled in correctly in the RTA forms. Other than that most chances are that you will get a bike allocated in less time than predicted!Originally posted by gunadat View PostGuys, am happy that I booked Classic 350 Chestnut on 02-Nov-2016 and waiting period is one month. Eagerly waiting for the delivery day.

1.Bike is brand new just two days .
2. It takes 2 to 3 attempts in self start and Kick 10 kicks or more .
3. I won't accelerate suddenly will keep ideal for while . But engine make tak tak sound for some moment ones engine heats it won't make noise .
But that tapping sound lasts for 1 min and also engine cuts off suddey ones engine heated it won't happen

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
It should not take 10 kicks or more. Give it a few more days for you to get the hang of things, by the end of a week of ownership if you still think its a problem, have it looked at, at the service centre in general and take their opinion.Originally posted by Darshangowda View PostHi

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
But in my case with same engine different design it takes only 1/2/3 kicks to start the engine and that too without any choke . In here the temp is around 18-19'C not more during 4:30 AM . I think (correct me ) may be his ideal RPM setting is below 1000 rpm . In my the rpm hangs at 950-1020 RPM not more not less - during cold start it hangs around 950-980 and while it got heated up its rises to 1000 RPM . Maybe his rpm setting is low / or his spark plug has not been properly fitted tightly mainly the Cap or may be his spark plug is little dirty / or may be his carburetor setting is lean / or something is in the airfilter which might be the problem - because his bike is brand neww !!
Secondly to your advice - why not take the warranty - as I believe I love to do the service of it on my own(help of xbhp/teambhp/ youtube) as in here in Kolkata none of the svc are trustworthy - because my friends TB500 did had oil leakage problem/spark plug not fitted properly/they have pour little oil in the air filter - so for that reason I am paranoid if they do the same thing to my TB350 for that reason I have void the warranty . And I am happy because for xbhp I can do the DIY in my TB350.
Thirdly, I am unable to find the TB350 thread (sorry for poking my nose) - please provide me a link for correct TB350 .
