Kudos for making the right choice . I am a proud owner of May'16 Squadron Blue and EFI 500 is miles apart from others in terms of raw power. The availability of plenty of torque across the band is mind blowing.
      While taking delivery :
      1. Look for cosmetic damages. (Paint scuffs and such)
      2. Check all the electricals
      3. Idle the bike for 2 mins and check the level of engine oil
      4. Check front disk oil . (DOT 4 is transparent)
      5. Make sure all the locks fit in and it is easy to open and close.(tools , battery and air filter)
      6. Check the wheel alignment

Opt for the matte black air-fly crash guard . It looks good on DS and SB.
After 1st service go for any BS 3 approved exhaust based on your liking. I suggest to remain 100% stock atleast till first service.
      Good luck . Have fun.

As mentioned in above reply, do all that + if you want to reduce vibration, you can add additional bar end weights to steady the handlebar

And make sure to lube the chain every 500 km.

Enjoy your ride, wait is worth it bro.

Use microfibre cloth to clean your bike every day for at least few minutes. That'll help you in maintaining a clean bike, moreover it will help you catch any odd things like dent, scratch, leakage, loose wire and other things faster.

Make sure to read and follow rider's manual properly.

                Hi guys
In RE website DS mileage is 40km. But owners get bw 25 to 30. Why so diff in ideal to actual condition .
Is this because of riding style. .
How to get good mileage. .
( sine it's 500cc bike and huge power out put I can't expect 50km mileage. But at least I expect 30 to 35 km )

On highway you may get about 35 but in city it will be hard to get that much

You can adjust idle at somewhere between 800-1,100 for better mileage.

Yes but then you have to change the spokes too

Hello xBhpians, i had enquired abt adding tyre protector liquid gel so tht the risk of punctures is minimized but the tyre protector guy said that we give warranty only on tube less tyres, which means a RE Owner will first have to change to alloy wheels in order to fit tube less tyres and then go for tyre protector liquid. He said they can do tube tyre as well but will not be covered under warranty. So has any one gone for this tyre protector and what has the experience been.

Thinking of buying the classic 350 ash color in sep. What mileage can I expect from CL 350 in city and highways ?
