Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Hi, there was nothing wrong with the Duke just that it wasn't meant for me! I felt that I couldn't ride it in a sedate manner as I wanted to, Felt really bad while parting with the Duke but then it was just parked the entire time. Looking forward to the classicOriginally posted by deep007 View PostPlease tell me why you sale your ktm duke 390

New bajaj avenger black indicators for enfield classic 350
Hi,
Anyone knows if the black indicators from new bajaj avenger can be fitted on enfield classic 350. I needed black indicators on my bike and want to remove the chrome ones. Tried painting the chrome to black but the paint started peeling off after a few days.

Immediately after boat-club/tankbund, you will find a narrow lane with couple of mechanics (named Sudhakar). There is a seat maker who is a genuinely good guy... this costed me about 450 rupees.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
For Service:- this is what i did, make friends with the place where you picked up the bike. tell them the nearest service centre to you, and ask them to help you connect to any senior mechanic at that service centre. when you give your bike for service get in touch with that senior mechanic and he will look after your bike.Originally posted by thunderbird_m6 View PostImmediately after boat-club/tankbund, you will find a narrow lane with couple of mechanics (named Sudhakar). I took advice from certain experienced and well flocked RE mechanics as well as RE owners within relatives, and i got the best reviews for the service centre in Secunderabad. But all in all everyone had an opinion that all service centres are more or less alike in their level of service.
I gave my bike to the SVC closest to my house.
Regarding the points to be highlighted to SVC:-
point out any specific issues that you observe to bike.
point it to them that the bike is scratchfree and you absolutely want it back the same way.
Hang around at the SVC see how they are handling other bikes.
I noticed SVCs around here tend to lubricate the chain to such an extent that one day after you take the bike back from SVC you will notice oil splatter on rear wheel and inner sides of exhaust. (the one on exhaust will harden when exhaust heats up) so in case You observe this, get this to their attention immediately. (take a longish test ride of bike and go back to SVC if you notice this/any other issue).
make a visual check to see any loose dangly wires, hoses, cracks, etc
My bike had a stiff handlebar which i pointed out and they rectified it. everything else was a routine first service and touch wood it came through smoothly, no new issues.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Try to call/visit in advance to see if appointment needed/best time to drop bike so that it tops the First Come First Serve chart. Also i heard Some SVC may not prefer FREE SERVICE customers on weekends, hence better to call in advance to the specific SVC you have narrowed down to.Originally posted by thunderbird_m6 View PostPoints and suggestion noted, even I am gathering inputs and issues to be addressed across while handing over bike for servicing. Re: Royal Enfield Classic 350 Owner's Review and Experiences
Fitted my classic 350 wiyh rd 350 handlebar alongwith original bar weights and wow, just no viberations even at 90. Also got the goldstar with jaali and glasswool exhaust from sans auto delhi. Awesome is the word. Loved it esp the handlebar, the seating position has changed and has become more comfortable, no back pain now.
