Yes, exactly. But don't do it so extensively use both, brakes and engine braking.

Engine oil or chain lube would do the job, though it would be more difficult to force the chain lube into the cable cover.

Hi...i have some questions regarding my 3.5 K kms old cl350...

              1. I don't know what a missing beat is...but while on road, during decelaration, I hear a couple of 'dum dum' beats (stock silencer)..is that one "a missed beat" ? Does it have an impact on the engine life or performance????

              2. I have spotted oil leak somewhere middle between between the primary and secondary drain bolts, underneath...I consulted the SVC guys..they said...they need to disassemble the engine and rectify that...and 3,days...they also said if it is not leaking like...1,drop per 10,minutes or so...it is fine...somehow...unhappily I had to return hearing this "disassemble", and "3,days" words...
My question is ...is anything of that is correct....and

Should I have an another SVC visit ?

                Hi,

I own a RE Classic 350 UCE 2015 model and want to know about the mixture screw in my UCAL BS 29 Carburetor,

if it has an Air screw or, Fuel Screw ? Rotating it clockwise means --Am i ending up with a Rich mixture or Lean ?

My current setting is 2.25 turn out .

                Please help .

                Regards,

Hey Guys, I finally got my Classic 350 Ash color this sunday. And the first ride had put a big smile on my face . The thump was like music to my ears. Great experience. Well i never rode a bike, except once or twice. I shifted directly from scooty pep (which i borrowed from my friend to learn to ride) to Bullet. So i am finding it bit uneasy in traffic. But i am sure i'll get use to it. Other than that experience is great.

Any suggestions regarding riding and maintenance is welcomed.

Check regularly if the engine oil is leaking (the most common issue for RE)...mainly around the primary and secondary drain bolts and also on the RH side casings .
follow the proper run in .

                      happy thumping

                            Hi friends,

I've been riding RE Bullet for around 15 years now. In my 15 years of ownership I've owned a Bullet 350 STD and Electra 4s. I love this machine so much so that I've booked my 3rd RE product Classic 350. I am scheduled to take delivery in next 3-4 weeks as per the showroom guys.

I wanted to know If I can fit alloy wheels and tubeless tyres on the classic 350. Pulling a RE with flat tyre is a hefty task.. Local mechanic has mentioned RODE alloy wheels. I am concerned about the quality of the alloys.

                            Thanks

                            • Bitten by the bullet bug.. SULTAN comes home!! Classic 350

What a day it has been for me!! Not only my profile here got activated! Sultan came home today!! 5th Feb is etched in the WOW days of my life!

One thing that I have realized more often than not is how I end up doing something I yearn for or have yearned for is over a very non contextualized generic conversation with my better half.. this time too it was no different..

One late evening about a couple of weeks back, this is what we conversed

Me: I am thinking that I should buy a bullet

                              She: hmm.. lelo

She: then I suggest you buy a pre worshipped bike and once you are convinced, graduate to a Harley or likes

I was certain that I wanted a classic 350 and nothing else.

                              After a week

Me: lets go to the RE showroom and take a look

She: yes, no harm, we could go and have a look, in the meanwhile continue your search for a 2nd hand bike

In the meanwhile, wifey had been very busy with her commitments and on the 25th evening, she called and asked me to come to the RE store. Went to the RE store, enquired about the bikes and was told that the waiting period is about 3 months. I insisted on having an early delivery and was promised a bike within 20 days. Awesome!! I was elated and immediately booked Chestnut red, classic 350..

                                Hello all!!

Although this is a Classic forum but still want to ask this question as mine is also a RE(thunderbird though). What is the service interval of RE post free servicing period? Currently mine total KM is around 8.5K and I did my 5th servicing on 29th Nov '15. When should I go?

                                Thanks,
