Oh okay, sorry but I don't have any idea for adding fuel gauge.

One of my friends friend is working in RE . He advice RE is working on major facelift on both classic 500 and 350 . So he told if u wait for some more time u would be going to have classic 2017 .

Guys is it true, All most one year I have to stretch time .
        Is it worth waiting ..
Since I booked DS I am getting in to more more confusions .

I heard they are working on 600cc-750cc new models. Never heard about new face of classic for 2017 classic models

Bro , I always recommend buying the best of current gen than trying out a new gen bike . Knowing about the quality control of RE , I personally feel it is highly risky to bet on a new generation/facelifts . God knows what kind of niggles they bring along . Also , I don't think RE would do anything ground breaking . Maybe a back disk brake ? an Instrumentation refresh? or some visual changes at the max .
The current gen c5 EFI is good enough . Just maintain it properly and it will be flawless . Go ahead bro !

            • Fork Sleeve touching the Fork

              Hi,

The RH fork sleeve on my RE CL350 is touching the active fork chamber..Shouldn't these should be non touching ?
I see some grease coming from the fork sleeve on the active fork.Is this a serious issue ?

I will upload the pictures once i go back from office .

              thanks

They could reduce vibrations using counter weights. They could add fuel gauge, trip meter and like you said rear DISC BRAKE. There are infinitely many possibilities that they can do to improve.

But yes I agree purchasing a bike that has been in market only for a short while isn't worth buying since we don't know it's proper reviews. Who knows it may have more problems than any good improvements.

Basically it is always better to select from whatever choices one has available along with proper review and reliability.

It think both of u r right ...
Local mechanics are well aware of present RE series.
As I said before my friend stop serviceing his bike right from his 3rd service .
                  And I changed DS 500 to classic 350 .
Main reason DS 500 comes with FI which can't be serviced by local mechanics ..
I will go with classic 350 Black . With the remaining money I utilise it for customisation like
                  1) changing to tubeless tyres .
                  2) silencer
                  3) helmet and riding gears
                  4) gopro camera

Sounds like a good plan, do share photos once you are finished customizing it.
