Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
RR310 and G310R are just making a fool out of themselves, lets not get them involved here. I spoke with the Manger of a Kawa dealer here in Hyderabad and he assured me that spare parts will be available much more readily now and at lower costs although I took that assurance with a pinch of salt.Originally posted by konqueror View PostFor My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
I understand what ever you are saying. Decrease in GC will be deal breaker for many. As per the early reports it is the same bike with lower GC, outdated console and MRF tyres. How do you feel when ever the bike your scrapes a speed breaker due to lower GC? At 50K more R3 is still pricey but it decreases the price gap with Ninja 300 by providing better tyres, more power and higher GC which makes it ideal for our broken roads.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostRR310 and G310R are just making a fool out of themselves, lets not get them involved here. Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Apparently the 2.98 lakhs is an introductory price which will increase after the prebooking slots are filled up. I am more excited about the rumored Facelift on the 2019 R3 hopefully with an updated Instrument cluster as well.Originally posted by konqueror View PostI understand what ever you are saying. If Kawasaki is going to increase the Ninja 300 price further then R3 is the one people has to pick. It is more practical bike for our roads.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostApparently the 2.98 lakhs is an introductory price which will increase after the prebooking slots are filled up. Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Localisation is with respect to couple of parts, like the breaking unit, I think. But 90% of other things remain same. Overall I don't think situation is going to change for parts and service, atleast in the near term of 2-3 years.
On the price front, not sure if they'll increase it.
And yes, 2019 R3 would be exciting

This price tag may not last for long as India Kawasaki Motor has clarified that it's an introductory offer meant for a specific number of motorcycles for a limited period. However, Kawasaki has not revealed details about how many Ninja 300s will be sold at the 'introductory' price and for how long this pricing will hold. For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
For me, it looks like some PR stunt from Kawa; may be due to actual booking numbers being much less than the expected 'rush' !Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View Post

My Pre- Owned Green N 1000
So the saga began a few years back when i was in Chandigarh. Had been riding a bike since 1997 and had a beauty of a machine called the Yamaha 135 RXZ. Used it till a long time and many moons later parted with it when my family size grew. Though i would have loved to keep it but with spare parts issues etc better sense prevailed and i let go of her in 2004.
As time flew, always had an urge to get another set of motors between my legs, though at that time choices were very minimal. Had seen a Ninja 250 flashing past a couple of instances disappearing into oblivion in a matter of seconds and always wondered what a machine it might be. As with my job profile didn't get an opportunity to actually ride a bike for quiet some time let alone buying one.
Then in 2012 saw a N 650 in flesh at Delhi and immediately fell for it. Alas the price was a little too much for me to afford it at that point of time. Subsequent year word spread that N 300 would be launched in India soon, and that is the time i seriously started considering buying another bike. Was in Pathankot at that point of time and the nearest KTM showroom where the N 300 would have been launched was at Chandigarh. So one find day after speaking to the KTM guys caught a bus and traveled 5 hours to reach Chandigarh. Though the bike was not available at that point of time as it had not been launched i was armed with enough internet research and data. So finished the formalities of booking the bike and started the long 60 day waiting period for its launch and delivery at Chandigarh.

Topic Approved. Moved to Ninja 300 ownership thread.

The 2 stroke era will never be back again, in its full force & support.
But yes, we all have (somehow) made peace with the modern, faster machines. Wish you all the best.

@arnavsameer
I wished the moderator would have seen the topic of the thread....the thread has just started and i have moved on from a 300 to a 1000 so i guess staying here would not be prudent.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Checked many r3 ownership reviews and found it to be exceptionally cost effective wrt service and spares. But probably shouldn't hijack N300 thread anymore [emoji16]Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostApparently the 2.98 lakhs is an introductory price which will increase after the prebooking slots are filled up. Re: My Pre- Owned Green N 1000
Slight OT.
I'm really sorry, but I was trying to find mention of the N1000 in the text itself. All your text mentioned was your efforts to purchase Ninja 300, without any pics either. Ultimately I concluded that maybe it was a typo from your side.Originally posted by arnavsameer View PostI wished the moderator would have seen the topic of the thread....the thread has just started and i have moved on from a 300 to a 1000 so i guess staying here would not be prudent.
Kindly open a new topic in the "Superbikes and Imports" Section. I'll approve it.---

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Hello guys.
I recently crashed my 300.Thanks to IRC. Was going for Spiti circuit. Left side fairing, gear lever, left clip on took the hit.
Handle was misaligned. Somehow straitened it and went for the ride anyway.
Could someone plz answer some of my queries?
1. Cost breakup of above said parts. I have insurance but not cashless.
2. Rectified misaligned (with the front wheel) handle bar but where is the problem and what needs to be changed.
3. Fan worked over time and coolant literally boiled and overflowed very easily. Is there a problem? Although ride was offroading all the way. But this is happening on highways too.

With a similar one around a couple of months or so ago, Kawasaki Hyderabad gave me a bill of around 61k.
Didn't have the tyre misalignment issue, but if we consider that, I presume the overall cost would easily be around the 70-75k mark.
