Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Bro, I also had similar offer on z250 earlier. This will be bad than a roughly used single owner bike. When the bike was offering me, the km was much lesser. Just imagine how much abused driving it would have gone through. Even though Kawasaki offer you support only buy if you know a professional mechanic and he certified it. Or please add some more money and buy a new or neatly maintained used one. Just remember, it's hell expensive to repair or replace any parts.Originally posted by sauravalwaysurs View PostHello guys,
As we all know that ninja 400 has made entry in India.
Today I went to a Kawasaki showroom to check for ninja 650. The showroom was selling it's ninja 300 (test ride vehicle) ridden for 6500 KMS for 2.8 lacs. Is it worth buying?

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
I bought the kit from an outside shop and went to my known mechanic. I also have heard stories saying DID, another Japanese brand kit as well as Rolon; however not sure which is legit though. I just went with the Rolon one, which was easy to source and a decent product.Originally posted by dineshaugustin View PostThe SVC is offering Rolon chain ? That means it is locally sourced. I thought ninja comes with DID.
ATGATT !!!

I am also using the ROLON chain Kit and the chain is reasonable at 10.5k against the 18-20k the company charges. the Rolon is also the same specs as OEM chain.
BTW any idea for a reasonably priced rear disc rotor
I got my front rotor from BREMBO (solid disc) for 7.5k but brembo doesnt seem to make the rear rotor

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
There are some local Thai and Indonesian models that fit 300. But I am unsure about the quality. Best bet will be to claim insurance on the current one as it costs around 14k for the rear rotor. Or maybe, just maybe the prices are coming down with the new update that 300 is getting today. Lets wait.Originally posted by diaslemuel View PostDoes anyone know of any cheaper and more reliable REAR DISC ROTOR for the Ninja 300
i found the Brembo DISC ROTOR (solid disc) for the front and its awesome
Now searching for the rear disc as the company is way too expensive
Or if someone is travelling from Indonesia(Its 250 there) or Thailand, ask them to get from there. Its like 3k only in Indonesia.
Edit: Ninja300 launched today has rotor and caliper made by endurance, hence should not cost anything more than 2k-3k max. Go ahead and order.Last edited by Ivin; 07-20-2018, 06:37 PM.Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Lots of options are available for tail light, and many are using it well too. Plug and play which includes indicators incorporated in it . Headlight though is a different thing. Remember once you screw the current setup, it will cost a bomb to replace(unsure about new model). Try to source a ZX6R 636 headlight assembly . Before all this, make sure you need the update. Stock headlights felt really good for me.Originally posted by DarkCircledCommuter View PostHey guys. Has anybody swapped the stock head and tail light with that of an LED setup?
I am planning to go all LED on mine, so wanted to check if anyone has done anything similar.
Any inputs would really be appreciated.Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Stock front are pretty good, I agree. But since I was going all LED, indicators included, I thought I might do the front as well.Originally posted by Ivin View PostLots of options are available for tail light, and many are using it well too. Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Hey guys,
As you all must be aware, N300 is now 3L, ex showroom, making it am awesome purchase. This made me really think about getting this awesome bike. I'm based out of Mumbai.
Today I was going through this forum to know about ownership reviews, read many posts and frankly I'm kind of shocked to learn about the state of affairs wrt the availability and price of spares and service.
Being in Mumbai, I think might get spares, but due to scarcity, service would be exorbitantly charged 'by the hour', as I got to know they are charging after breakup with Bajaj. But overall, to me, it seems like a pain, that even after paying 3.5L, we can't have peace of mind during ownership. It sort of breaks my heart. [emoji29]
Regards,
Abhishek

Did you not read the part where it said that production of Ninja300 has been "LOCALIZED" because of which theres a price drop of 62k?Originally posted by Danej View PostHey guys,

Availability of spare parts will be less concerning now and the service model might be changed. For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience
Localization does not mean availability of spares at low cost. You will need to consider the spares pricing of RR310 which is manufactured locally. With just 27 outlets across the country servicing options are still going to be limited and costly compared to KTM.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostDid you not read the part where it said that production of Ninja300 has been "LOCALIZED" because of which theres a price drop of 62k?
