There are not many workshops in kerala which deals with imported bikes. Probiking showrooms do not deal with modifications. Do anyone know a good workshop in kerala who can do modification work on ninja 300

Vineeth, there is a very famous shop in Cochin which does all modifications for any imported bikes, almost all the sbks in Cochin get extra work done from him.

The place is known as Kuttan chetans Garage. You can enquire about the whereabouts from Cochin KTM. Or if you PM me your details, i'll get you the required contact number and location.

Hi I have bought my ninja 300... absolutely amazing bike!! ahem, around 3 weeks back.. I have some 350 kms on it so far... yeah office is kiling me.. anyways.. its running uncomfortably heavy.. the engine feels really heavy.. I have crossed the 4k mark once or twice till 6k rpm.. kept changing the rpm range.. but today when it rained.. the engine got so heavy and absolutely bad acceleration.. that I almost cried. I love my bike.. is there something wrong here? I am from Bangalore.. can anyone point out a decent service station? I have checked the oil.. and tire pressure everything seems fine. Engine definitely sounds heavier than before but normal no weird sounds coming from it. I am extremely worried. It ran butter smooth the first time. My Pulsar runs smoother than it right now.

check the disk pad clearance... anything rubbing against the disks ?
            chain slack....
over tight steering also gives that heavy feeling...
            temperature ??

Yes there is some chain slack.. actually my friend noticed a lot of chain slack.. it also touches the bike at the front upper part. the engine sounded really rough today.. I am not sure if I should change the oil. Temperature is fine. Bike doesn't heat up at all. Heavy as in the acceleration is comparatively less and engine sounds rough.

chain can cause the same and if the chain is touching that means it has a lot of slack...
also check the tyre alignment. sometimes when the chain gets loose the left and right gaps of rear tyre get uneven resulting in that heavy feeling.
get the chain cleaned and lubed...

I am looking for a slip on exhaust for my ninja 300. Which one is the cheapest. I am looking for sweet sound. Do I have to change the mapping of the bike if I install a slip on

dont look for cheapest/loudest slip-ons.. get the one which will be the best for your bike..
now i am not asking to get the top notch carbon fiber etc ones...

you wont need to remap ECU for a slip-on change..

check @ahbimanyu.. thread over 300.. i am sure he can guide you with it and many other members who own this beauty...

I am not looking for local made. By cheapest I mean of less cost. Between 10000 to 20000

I personally liked the yoshimura r77. its isn't too uncomfortably loud and adds a decent deep throaty sound, I believe the stock exhaust doesn't do much justice to the calibre of this beautiful bike. However I would wait till the warranty period is over to get a slip-on.

Thanks man. I also noticed in the oil check glass that its very dark need to change it. and yes I will have the chain checked I have cleaned it but alignment and adjustment is something I will leave to kawa professionals. Do you happen to know any decent service center in bangalore. The reviews for majority over internet are pretty bad.
                          Thanks again!
