Hey!!!!Yes, you are right. But the running in is killing me. I feel Ninja does not like being shifted at 4000 rpm. He wants me to shift late..

Thanks buddy!! 1 week into ownership and I am getting some noise from the chain. Kawasaki svc guys in Seawoods have been helpful with that. However the noise is still there. Other Ninja owners please let me know if the noise from chain is fine.

If not please suggest a good garage svc or garage to get it fixed.
I have the chain noise as well. I got it checked by the only good mechanic in bangalore here.. and he lubed the chain its gone.. but after two three days it comes back... he says its metal and metal rubbing. it only happens when I cross 60.. but yes u r not alone buddy.

It is indeed hilarious how things turned out, but hey, if you feel it's right, it's right..!!

          Imported tyres ?
Better look up for options and ask for which tyre you want and members can guide you to the place.

          Ride safe and have fun.

From what I heard, the tyres in N300 are good.. they will last for at least 3 years.. if you're into burning out tires that is.

Iam open to tyres from pirelli, michelin, metzler & bridgestone but want to stick with the stock size. So if anyone can let me know where I can source any of these tyres it would be greatly appreciated. The stock IRC road winner tyres don't really last beyond 7000kms with normal to high speed highway riding. The contact patch begins to wear off and as in my case has induced a wobble in the front wheel.

                Greetings to all,

I have booked a Ninja 300 in Goa, on 29th May '14, its been 3 weeks and still no news of the bike, where as Vashi and other showrooms deliver the bike in as less as 7 to 10 days. Can anyone explain why such a difference between delivery times?

This thread is very very informative and helpful for hungry and poor rookies like me, thank you and keep it up.

                  Hi All,
Finally long awaited ninja is in my hand. But I have a small Problem with my Machine. The oil Lamp is always Burning when the ignition is on and engine is off. I asked the Showroom fellows they said there is no problem with it. But still I am worried for it.
Can any one say is it a problem to be worried?. Should I top up oil?. If so which oil should I top up with.

                  Thanks
                  Vivek

Finally I decided on the MRF REV Z soft compound tyres. I am impressed with the build quality of these tyres and the price which cost me Rs.5500/- for a pair. The sizes I installed are Front - 110/70-17, Rear - 140/60-17. Warranty is 2 years.

Just curious to know, are these the FZ/Fazer tyres? Int aht case, I don't think the speed rating matches to the one supplied as OEM tyres for Ninja. You may very well be restricted for the speed you can catch. A Ninja 300 is more or less 3 times more powerful than the FZ so the tyres undergo a lot more stress.

Asked this just out of curiosity.

Yes, FZ/Fazer uses 140/60 MRF REV-Z (Rear) but 100/80 front MRF Zapper in the front.

A good question. The Z denoted on the tyre wall means they are good to run at speeds > 240 kmph. I don't know what tyre specification the FZ uses.
