Original KTM guards for 1000/- ?? Sounds too good to be true. Better buy original knee guards from spartan, cramster etc.Originally posted by rakeshr View PostThe way you ride is the way you are..

This is why I am asking here. I asked couple times and he said yes original. There was just one pic he shown me. So I asked for couple more so I can confirm that he really own that then I will decide.Originally posted by Deathmate.Zed View PostOriginal KTM guards for 1000/- ?? Sounds too good to be true. You will be surprised at the amount of KTM branded fakes circulating in the market. the deals sound too attractive. I myself have fallen victim to them when I bought a pair of 'Original KTM' gloves apparently gotten from a person who got them from singapore. The gloves didnt even last for 6 months!Originally posted by rakeshr View PostThis is why I am asking here. I asked couple times and he said yes original. There was just one pic he shown me. I am sure this guy doesn't have a valid bill as proof of purchase.
Better to be safe then sorry. But in the end it's your choice. The way you ride is the way you are..

No pro about such stuff but as I can see they are big in size.. I am not sure if you can wear under shirt or pant.Originally posted by ronitgandhi24 View Postguys with my limited budget is buying arm and knee guards worth for city riding going for college .....can these be worn under shirt or pant ...

Taking it off after you are in college is a pain though. I rather prefer ones which are over your pant. Cramster has great elbow and knee protectors last time I checked.Originally posted by ronitgandhi24 View Postguys with my limited budget is buying arm and knee guards worth for city riding going for college .....can these be worn under shirt or pant ...
I highly doubt it to be an original KTM one. You're better of buying DSG, Rynox or Cramster if you can't go for Alpinestars/Dainese. I tried LS2, it was good, but didn't feel like it was any better than the DSG one I tried before I bought one. Maybe the armor rating is different or something.Originally posted by rakeshr View PostI am getting a second hand KTM original knee and elbow guards.. Owner say he purchased them just for a trip and now he want to sell. There are no scratches and also no accident was happened. He is selling it for just 1000/- Should i purchase it?
Getting pricey jackets and pants are out of my budget.

It's the water. Happened with me as well. Ask the svc guy to clean it up.Originally posted by ags1773 View PostSince a few days, light switch feels kinda funny.. It doesn't 'click' anymore, it just 'slides' if you know what I mean. Still works tough.

10L usable. you can ideally do 250-270km before hitting reserve. as i have seen fellow riders do.Originally posted by Amey108 View PostWhat's the range of this beast on full tank?

I doubt if it would be replaced under warranty but you can claim insurance I suppose.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostGuys. One doubt. Remember the rims used to crack when hitting bumbs even at low speeds. Were they replaced under warranty? Mine has a small bend. And my local mechanic thinks it might be the reason for the wobbling at high speeds.

No, not all towels are microfibre. Almost all malls or small retail supermarkets in Bangalore have a place for automobile things, you could easily get hold of microfibre cloth. I have even seen in some Shell bunks retails these stuff. I am not sure whether the swirl marks would appear on fibre/plastic body parts of duke.Originally posted by Gunslingin_Ridr View PostGuys, are all towels microfibers? I don't want any swirling action going on on my bike by using old shirts for cleaning.

I've cleaned it before with a regular cloth and I can already see some swirls and lines on the tank near petrol cap area. I used normal cloths for the plastics, but for the tank area and console, I want to use a microfiber cloth.Originally posted by joe_marvy View PostNo, not all towels are microfibre. And also, if you'd let me know an exact place, it would save me a lot of time.
