Should I change it or not ? I had a fall on a grassland while off roading. Not that fast but a slow one . What should I do

You can find it by leaving both the hand from handlebar. if there is any issue, bike will move in sideways or may wobble.

Imam thanks as always being for a help whenever needed.it's not wobbling even at high speeds like 60-80 but trying it goes in either direction . I will try .
If that test is passed. Should I go on ?

That's very risky to let go off the handle bar when the vehicle is in motion....a danger to your safety and other traffic as well..a bent handle bar is a sign of an aching shoulder...if it aches after 10 min of normal riding.... something is wrong and get it checked

I read somewhere that the 2017 MC is bigger and better than the old model ones. Is this true and would there be an improvement in the braking if installed with the old caliper setup.

Asking as lots of ppl internationally have tried b
brembo and other bigger MC setups and claimed an improvement in the braking of the bike. Thanks.
Pain, appreciate the photo and the follow up. The RC threads too have become for quite a few as a medium to relinquish their agony on the extremely priced levers. I reckon these should be definitely forged, still 1.8k for a single lever is by far the costliest brake lever I've come across for any Indian made bike. Even the KTM power part first copy that's 100% forged have excellent quality and retail for a 2.5k a pair.. And when I last tried this, the adjuster is quite dodgy, the tactile feel of adjusting the feel of the lever isn't that great. Though the lever moves quite by a few mms front and back, the ratchet mechanism isn't that great, definitely not worth the 1800 unless and until they're made out of magnesium. Do try not to drop your bike.. Whoopsie!

Secondly, the pads that come in the MY 2017 Duke are sintered and you can use the entire setup of the new 2017 or you can just upgrade your brake pads to EBC HH with the old brake setup, they provide a cheap alternative and the bite is comparatively good.

It probably would win the award for the costliest brake lever on an Indian made motorcycle
You can perhaps get a first copy forged levers that costs almost the same and offer very good adjustability vis-a-vis the new 2017 ones.

            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

You can get CNC cut aluminum orange levers which are good quality from resellers from eBay. Since I am in office, I can't open some e-commerce sites, but they do have some listed and the quality is miles ahead from what you get with these stock adjustable levers. Do not go for those MOXI, ZOXI and those unnamed cheap adjustable levers, they are equally worthless. The bolts undo themselves over time and are aren't that great. The first copy KTM levers you get are of machined aluminum and the tactile feel is equally good.

Now that your bike is sorted out of all the problems, give yourself a pat on the back and relish her with a long trip and post your trip log in the Tourers thread. Not a local tea stall trip, but a good highway worthy trip that way you can assess she is performing after all the work that's done and would be equally interesting with a part mechanical and part touring experience jotted down. Would spice things up, don't you think

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!

Please do not give out such advice. Firstly it isn't the correct method and secondly it is dangerous.

Get the handlebar visually inspected and compare with another bike. With a bent bar you would almost immediately feel a difference, so check with another bike. Another thing that might have gone wrong is the fork alignment (not fork bend, don't fall for the 'fork bend saaar' ). To realign them follow this
Bump up a curb, hit a pot hole, not hard to knock out the fork alignment, here's a really simple way to set it all back straight again in a few minutes.

Certainly have already done a mumbai - lonavala - lavassa - mumbai trip around 430 odd kms and it was so much fun it was just me and my friend on the dominar. Loved the way she corners. It performs extremely well. In October though I have a tour planned. Mumbai - Udaipur - Ajmer - Jaipur - Mumbai. It will be a solo trip and I have KTM orange assist but yes this trip will definitely test this 4 year old beast and its parts. Will be vlogging so yes will keep you guys updated. Thank you very much for all the support.

Bike is back now and running fine except the oil leak.

Issues turned out to be screwed engine head during decarb. I dunno what to do with these morons. Bike spent approx 75 days at SVC in 3 separate instances. First they said it was wiring kit 10-15k, then they said cylinder kit -26k, then throttle body - 7k. Unnecessarily changed radiator fan and piston rings in a perfectly baby'd bike and billed 10k. They only know replacing and check instead of proper diagnosing. Last thing they changed was the head to check and all issues vanished. Didn't pay anything since they only screwed it. Oil leak is like always dripping. They said 2 gaskets need to be changed and no stock.
