you have any low battery warning message or only the speedo 0?
I hear both are related. and my bike showed the Low Battery for the 1st time a week back. I have done another 300kms by now but only the 0 speedo occurs not the low battery.Pegasus - 2011* - Hero Honda Karizma ZMR

you probably have a stator coil or battery that's getting ready to go out. Rare cases the regulator-rectifier unit.Originally posted by niku View Postoh my

i suggest you get it checked at the svc or yourself if you have a multi-meter (refer the workshop manual on how to check the stator coil)

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
I don't think they came with a quick throttle. The quick throttle has made a difference compared to stock.Originally posted by AngadV View PostI've heard KTM already equipped the 2015 models with a 'quick throttle', ie a lower turn angle. Did you notice any difference or is it like stock throttle?
Thanks!

I've changed my clutch shaft release assembly and boy it feels a lot lighter now
. No more fatigued wrists. I don't think I'll ever need a slipper clutch now. Those who haven't changed it in old model, I would highly recommend that you do, it costs a mere Rs.104.

How much did they charge you for labour? Does it involve disassembling entire clutch basket and assembling back?Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostI've changed my clutch shaft release assembly and boy it feels a lot lighter now

Hmm, it should have made the clutch lighter. Which model is your bike. I've certainly felt a considerable improvement in mine.Originally posted by AngadV View PostI got it done 2 weeks ago, I don't know if its because I'm used to it or what, but it feels like its tightened again to how the old part used to be
Total bill came to around 400. They said the clutch cover had to be replaced too(don't remember the part number). I am not sure whether the entire assembly had to be removed and re assembled as I wasn't there while they changed it.Originally posted by NitinGirish View PostHow much did they charge you for labour? Shouldn't be much of a problem, just make sure your engine oil, and coolant levels are not too low before the ISG2G ride. Would advise to carry them just in case.Originally posted by Imam Jafer Ali View PostMy duke clocked 8k and need to run 1k without service. Will it make a problem to the engine ?

I have the RC 390, and yeah, it did make it a lot lighter, but after a while it just feels like its getting tighter.Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostHmm, it should have made the clutch lighter. Which model is your bike. I've certainly felt a considerable improvement in mine.

And the clutch gasket or something like that is the part, that was around 50 bucks, 104 for the part, and 150 for labour was my total charge

Can you post the bill and what all needs to be done as svc guys here seem clueless about the job. Also is an oil change required?Originally posted by AngadV View PostI have the RC 390, and yeah, it did make it a lot lighter, but after a while it just feels like its getting tighter.

I've posted a pic, ignore the chain part, that was for chain lube and cleaning, not related to this. The shaft assembly part(104 rupees one) I had bought from another service centre, so thats an additional 104 to the bill.
Honestly their labour is a complete loot, but I don't bother about getting into it with them on topics like that🙄
Just a small point, if the svc guys don't know how to do it, how would this help? If you tell any mechanic to change the shaft clutch assembly, they would know what it is, if these guys don't even know about it, I'd suggest you find another SVC who does. Its a 10-15 min job max, so you can get it done quickly too
