Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Update. Installing the "slim" radiator guard has made the heat vanish.! Earlier, there was a lil heat due to the mineral oil. Now it's ZERO. [emoji4]

How can heat vanish just by installing radiator guard? Can you share more info on this.

Radiator guard doesn't dissipate heat , it saves the radiator from flying debris from the front wheel..... 😕

That radiator 'guard' is just a cosmetic piece. if you have the stock mud flap on the front fender, it does all the job of keeping the muck away from the radiator.
It's your money and up to you on how you want to spend it.. am not asking you not to buy such stuff.
But claiming that the radiator 'guard' making the heat vanish and ZERO ? on a 390 ??

It would be great if you can confirm if they replaced any part or any insight into the job they did, if you can share them here that'd be great.

                        Cheers!

What they told me was the valve along with the wiring was loose and they fixed it. They also mentioned next time you may need to change the valve itself. The thik wire that is coming from below the console. Thats what they showed me.

                          Thanks

Good. By valves did they engine valves, because it is kinda confusing here? Were you have any sort of trouble with the engine or valves?

                            Cheers!

There was absolutely no issue with riding or starting the bike as well. The display goes blank for a moment and gets back normal in a min or two. However it reset the clock to 1.00 . Not the engine valve, they told there is valve which connects the console to the battery. I will try taking a pic tomorrow and post it which one i meant.

                              Thanks

See. There is a stock radiator guard in Duke 390 but it's very thick. Earlier, bike used to get lil hot while accelerating and in traffic.
But, after installing the "Slim" radiator guard yesterday (Less than 2.5 times the thickness of stock radiator guard OR let's say Nokia Communicator vs Moto RAZR, just for eg.) the heat has reduced considerably. Maybe it helps in better heat dissipation by allowing more air flow. Today in my journey of around 25 kms, the bike was cool all the time.[emoji5]
