I just changed the tyre yesterday to Pilot street Radial 150/60 not in the city though. My work place is an Industrial area so due to that a lot metal scrap had ruined my stock Metz leading to numerous punctures so opted for Mich.
I got them changed at S.R Enterprises
Near Bhosari-Telco Road. I got the tyre at good price of Rs.5050/- although he quoted Rs.5200/- at start but later on agreed additional discount.
He is old friend of mine and he said enquire anywhere in pune and his price will be lowest, if i come across dealer quoting lower than his he'll be happy to give more discounts... Win-Win for me

They do sell SBK tyres as well.
Haven't done much riding so cant comment on its performance yet but it does provide some good stability and makes me feel safe and confident.

Also i did my first burnout ever just before changing to michelin. What best way to part ways with my old pal the super Metzeller :P

I guess yes, it can be used on other bikes as well. If size and material is same. It should be useful.

Sold my Duke 390 today. It was a wonderful 7500kms of journey together. Enjoyed every bit of her, but as they say, all good things come to an end. Will miss her. Will write a detailed user review as and when I find time.

475/- I heard there is also a jugaad where you can stick magnet to the side stand sensor. Does any one have idea on this ?

No idea of jugaad.

KTM offers one for 80 rs, but no stock even after a year of frequent inquiry. Dealer least interested in procuring one for me.

Duke 390 review from Revzilla, he has many nice thing to say about it
Few points:
1) R3 and 390 has same price
2) 390 maintenance is more than R3
3) 390 is way ahead of other bike in its segment
4) Excellent handling and shock
5) Gear not so good

So after a lot of research and shorting agony, I've decided to go in for a new Duke 390 as I feel it's value for money, has an upright seating, okay pillion seat and dual channel ABS, which was one of my main requirements. I just checked with Kawasaki KTM, at Mumbai, Andheri(E) and he told me it's 2,21,000 On Road Mumbai? I thought it was between 2,10,000 or so? Please can someone guide me here... Thanks
