I thought, the overheating issues were solved when the slipper clutch model was introduced? And are the vibes that bad?

You get used to it. And the heat, you man up eventually. [emoji6]

I was about to go book the CBR 250R ABS tomorrow, but then felt this justified the price slightly better. Hope I am making the right move!

I just checked with Kawasaki KTM, at Mumbai, Andheri(E) and he told me it's 2,21,000 On Road Mumbai? I thought it was between 2,10,000 or so? Please can someone guide me here... Thanks
            Wow !! Brother ..
You've just saved me a trip to the showroom..
I too am planning on buying a duke 390 and was going there tomorrow to check on the latest pricing ...

I'm found my bike to be perfect till now. No overheating. Heats just a lil bit= negligible.
Vibes are there only if ur in the wrong gear (which is with every bike). But, the nikasil coated, forged piston cylinders do a gud job of masking it. Otherwise, bike is pretty smooth. Trust me, I was a non-believer 2 months back after reading everything on net. Also, mileage I'm getting 25-28 kmpl (before 1st service).

No waiting he said if payment is through NEFT or cash, I'd be paying part cash and cheque, so I believe he will wait for it to clear & he'll then send it for registration. Stock is available and there's no waiting as of now

No man. The bike is pretty smooth for me. Yes the test ride which I did on an RC390 had horribly horrible vibrations. I was like w**. Is this someone's science project or wht??
But, my Duke 390 is really smooth. Have u changed ur oil or not? A bike is always very rough in the initial 1-2k kms due to all the metal particles inside the engine. I changed the oil at 250 kms.

P.S.: & the single-most thing that I love about the bike are the WP shocks. They provide an amazingly comfortable ride.

Nice! I don't remember well enough, was there some news article that KTM would be phasing out these models this year?

Buddy don't get me wrong but I have covered 14k kms on my D390 and I can't say heating is negligible, I have rode to almost all types of roads and it really heats up badly in bumper to bumper traffic. Regarding smoothness, it will increase after 5k kms but slight vibes will be there.
