Man, keep the engine on even at signals.Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostBike was serviced four days back and coolant level was at prescribed level. I was at traffic signal and before that I was riding through mild traffic, when traffic signal got green I started the bike and bike started but after going around 50 meters bike stalled, mid was on but when i started it again it displayed high coolant temperature and i had to wait around 10-12 minutes to start bike again.
Radiator is working but i have to give it at svc, really frustrated of this issue.
If bike is hot and you switch off the engine, definitely you will get high coolant warnings if you start after 1-2 minutes.

Yeah, that's what I hate about non-timed signals. I never know when I'm going to be burning my fuel off or the engine (for those quick 40 second signals which I think would be longer and turn off, but soon after that the signal shows greenOriginally posted by bikersdream View PostMan, keep the engine on even at signals.

Any aftermarket exhaust will be louder than stock ones. Personally I like stock exhaust because there's no point in changing exhaust only there will be slight increase in power ( provided you have put piggy back ecu and aftermarket air filter) and its exhaust note will only get little bassier but nothing like twin or inline 4 engine.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostAnybody can answer my query??

I had a gpr exhaust for a while. It's very loud. My brother wanted it. So we bougt and fixed it. Now i have removed it to claim warranty. But i must say the low end drivability was better with the exhaust...Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostAny aftermarket exhaust will be louder than stock ones. Plus it depends on the rto of your region. Some are very strict.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostI had a gpr exhaust for a while. It's very loud. My brother wanted it. Amaron got only 9 AH, which is taller and slimmer than stock Exide. Exide got a new red colored model, same size as stock, which comes with 4 years (2+2) warranty, Exide Xplore XLTZ9.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostQuestion. My battery is pretty much done... Have to change it. The manual says 8ah battery is needed. Does amaron have a model that fits duke 390.?

Yes that's my point you can get your exhaust note louder but it will not be anything like twin or inline 4 engine exhaust note, regarding warranty it mainly depends how is your rapport with svc guys.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostI had a gpr exhaust for a while. Will it be too loud with the db killer? You had the db killer on your gpr exhaust or not? I don't want to scare my office compound.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostI had a gpr exhaust for a while. It's very loud. My brother wanted it. So we bougt and fixed it.
