It gets heated up in break in. And the operating temperature of this bike is quite high compared to others in this class, so if you're two bars away from safe "line" in the temp gauge, you're fine.

Need some help with custom wraps/stickers guys.

I am bored with the usual 390 stickers on my bike and so are a few other riders I know. Ive prepared a custom sticker set with appropriate size, off the stencil of the the original stickers. But I just cant find any place which can print them for me.

Now I am considering getting the stickers printed on waterproof stickersheet and getting a clear coat over it. Will it make sense? Or better if anyone knows of some place which can help me print a custom wrap or a vinyl sticker.

But the problem is it takes 1 takes week for it to sanction and ktm staff are compelling me that if i dont get it done by 30th the prices are going to be increased by 7000
By the next month.

So i m alittle bit worried .
Iasked the ktm staff that i booked before the price change so will that affect me. But they said booking will not matter and if i dont get it before 30 th i will have to pay extra.
Deepak Vishnu Any confirmation whether there is hike in price of duke 390 or the statement given by showroom staff untrue?

I checked with the Dealer in Gurgaon about the increase in price of the bike when i first when for the test ride of D390 two months back, he told that it is going to rise by some thousands but when i went again this month for the test ride, the price still remained the same and now he told that there is no intimation of increase in the near future,at least till December there is not going to be any rise in prices.

When the prices will rise the Company will automatically Notify through media.

Went to get my chain lubed and cleaned in the morning KTM Nalstop. Idiot mechanic sprayed lube all over my backwheel . Thankfully he told me that cloth dipped in petrol will wipe off the lube.
P.S-I even got the powerparts tankpad fitted, costs a whopping 2000 RS/- . Seems good so far. Will post pics later.
Another thing, what would happen if i thumb the starter before the initial check is complete.

bike will start.. i've seen the mechs at the svc do it frequently and i myself have done it a couple of times at traffic signals in a hurry.
as for the cons of doing this, i have no idea.

Surprising. I've tried it to. But it never cranks till initial check completes.

S1d is right, I've personally seen mechanics just crank it like no ones business the moment they switch on the ignition, on the 200. But perhaps they've made a fix to this issue on the newer lots, I am yet to check it out, since I haven't cranked my bikes without letting the pump prime. There isn't any con per se, with regard to starting without the pump priming, after running a few KMS or after the engine heated up.

Now coming to the cranking part, the motorcycle isn't supposed to crank before the pump primes and the display does a full sweep. I reckon there must be some issue with the bike.

It is a good price to allow the pump priming process, when the motorcycle is cranked the next day or every morning after prolonged parking period.

Cheers!
