So i should get the new version of d390 with slipper clutch right

And. Has the over heating been resolved? Or atleast reduced[emoji13]

    Anyways xoxo
    Ill be getting the ktm
Yes the newer ones come equipped with slipper clutch. The overheating problem has been taken care of but not completely fool proof, certain riding conditions can in fact overheat the motor, but it isn't something to worry about.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

I have just finished my first service on the D390. I am yet to face any major issue so far. Do NOT expect fuel economy anywhere near the NS or the CBR. Just make sure you clean and lube the chain regularly, get it serviced regularly, timely oil changes and whatnot and don't abuse your machine. And if you enjoy spirited riding in any form the CBR is not for you.

80-90 kph. 80% highway. No pillion, I weigh 80 kgs+weight of the riding gears (jacket and gloves) with a light backpack. Filled the tyres with Nitrogen. 27 at the front, 32 at the back.

Even me, my friends, everyone were very surprised.

Also, I had filled it up with regular HP fuel.

In 11k kms of ownership I have never got mileage more than 31 kmpl even on highway , I weigh 68 kg + riding gears .

Must be a good petrol pump. Nowadays petrol bunks give so less fuel. I always fill my bike from a single, trusted petrol bunk. It is near my house & gives consistently high quantity of fuel. I think it is the only bunk near 15-20km radius of my house which gives full petrol. Rest all of them give so less amount of fuel.

Hi, u got ur ride yesterday? I thought u were riding the 390 for quite some time.

Can you give some first impressions? I know it's still early days to tell about the bike properly. It's only at 2-3 service that the real characteristics of the bike come to the fore. But still. As I'm about to buy the same bike by next week maybe.

Im really a person who does 100 k kms on a bike then even consider selling it.

I will be using the bike alot..
Can the duke do 90 k on the odo and still go strong for another 50 k?
                                Kms

I ride alot. All the bikes i owned are pretty much above 50 k kms and yes all were pretty much driven by me only.

So my real question is does the dukes engine become a banana after 30 k kms or is it a bike if maintained well can last 100 k+ kms

Owner who done 30 k kms+ please enlighten me ...
I been hearing about alot of engine related problems of the 390. ...
I really want this buy but reliability keeps holding me back..

And ill probably be getting the 390 anyways ...
