Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
Any idea where I can get a cheap tail tidy kit for like a 1000 bucks in pune. I just spent 2000 on the powerparts tankpad and 1000 on the chain clean and lube.
P.S- The Nal Stop svc in pune sucks. Go to baner, bundgarden or the new one opened up in market yard. My ratings for the svc would be
Baner-9.0
Market yard-8.5
Bundgarden- I have not personally been there, but I hear they have an RC8 on display. I have heard that their service is pretty good and I dont know if they are running some sort of scam but they asked my friend to give 1000 Rs/- for booking and RC390. Minimum amount in all states I presume is 30,000 Rs/-. Correct me if I am wrong.
Nal Stop- This is good for sales and major servicing jobs. But go there to lube your chain or something and those people dont pay much attention. Also I had motul lube all over my rim. Had to get a bottle of kerosene to clean it up.What do you call a biker who does not wear a helmet? An organ donor.

have the tire removed and check the inside of the rim.. sometimes from the outside it appears to just be a bend, but on the inside there might be a crack. I've see a cpl of dukes with such damage.Originally posted by Gunslingin_Ridr View PostNo air loss, tyre breakage/scuffs or any handling changes. Don't even feel anything's wrong.
if its just the bend as seen in pic without any crack, i think this rim can be easily repaired by a competent guy. Bangalore folks should be able to help you out.
But if you want to go with replacement, then i suggest you pay for the rim if possible instead of claiming insurance.

Last year I myself booked my D390 for rs. 2000/- ( Raipur Chhattisgarh) although payment was done through cash and rtgs. I think it depends on dealer.Originally posted by rohangk View PostI have heard that their service is pretty good and I dont know if they are running some sort of scam but they asked my friend to give 1000 Rs/- for booking and RC390. Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
My 390 just went in for the meter to be changed.
Reason being moisture inside. Since my bike is about to cross 30k. It sort of happened at the best time. Also the meter shows 0 kmph sometimes. After a lot of things being replaced by the svc trial and error method. They have come to the conclusion that the whole wiring kit needs replacement. So yey for me i guess....

just plonk in the stock filter before taking it to the svc.. as simple as that.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostOne more thing guys. While reading previous posts i saw some of you have air filter box cracking issues. So if i am using aftermarket filter , can i get a replacement under warranty? ? I apologize if that was a dumb question. ..
if you cant buy a new stock filter for whatever reason, just pick up a used one from the svc saying you want to keep it as a spare one for emergencies.
