I don't think it makes any difference. I feel the Heat like before if I'm into traffic..

The cheaper one is the michelin pilot sport iirc (not a radial and available in the 140 section size)
A metzeler 150 section for 6k (or cheaper?) H rated is good enough for 210kmph.. Do let me know where I can get one in Hyderabad.
My mistake, i was thinking about front tire. Yes Rear tire I bought year back was for 5300.
You can check out the prices at Lambodara Tires (Kompally), Ashoka Tires (Panjagutta).

I think I am running into the first set of problems on my bike. The only one that really concerns me is a deposit of fuel (most likely) around the tube that goes from the airbox to the cylinder head. Is this something I should really get looked at right away? My second service is scheduled at the end of this month, I'll definitely have it noted then, but should this be taken care of even before that?Click image for larger version

From where were you able to source the tire Rahul, any potential insight into the availability should help us.
ananthu, for now, wipe clean the area with diesel or petrol or any solvent and, try riding the bike for 100 kays and then start observing how it fares, blowby weep is not a problem happens on some bikes, especially when dusty conditions are involved. First off, clean the area, and observe for 100 kays, and do keep a tab on any cracks near the tube nipple, just in case. If everything's fine, nothing to worry.

Cheers!

you shouldn't be seeing any weeps/leaks around that area. i'd suggest you get it checked asap.
there is a separate transparent plug kinda thingy at the end of the breather pipe where some engine oil collects when ridden fast on long rides (you know like a good highway blast). It's happened a couple of times for me, i have them just remove that small transparent plastic thingy and dump the 2-3ml oil out and put it back and i also make them check the air filter box to see if any oil has gone in to the air filter box.. and so far it never has, and should never do normally. And having a leak externally is definitely not normal.. so do have it checked.

I got mine from ashoka too (the one opp lv prasad).
now they seem to have the mrf revz c1/fc1's in stock, and the ktm banjara quoted me 2600rs for the front fc1. I'll have that replaced shortly. The front mrf is a gem!

Same problem in mine too. The tank is leaking. Look below the tank.

you are probably right, of late i've heard of quiet a few instances (online/offline) of the tank leaking due to cracks. there were two d200 folks i met at my local svc who told me that they had their tanks replaced under warranty on the 2016 model.
wonder what this new nonsense is.. just when one thought things improved on the other fronts. probably inferior quality tank or over tightening the fuel pump mountings.

Hi guys, from from past 1 week my duke's rear Michelin tyre is losing air. I have checked that there's no puncture and also the rim is not bend. Have also changed the valve just to be sure. Tyre is still losing air gradually within 2 days. What can be the issue guys, can anybody help. I am clueless, thanks.

Check for Punctures again and this time, check the sidewalls too. If there is a cut on the sidewall, time to change the tire.

The bike will first be launched in international markets with an Indian debut expected around early 2017. Expect KTM to showcase this next-gen Duke 390 at the EICMA show in Milan around November 2016. THIS IS VERY EXCITING!

Look at the bike, and it is sharper in every sense.

What’s new:

New split multibeam headlamp, like a slit in the centre
New sharper tank panel
Fiber fuel tank
New flat instrument consol
New trellis frame with a different subframe
New switchgear
New adjustable levers
New radiator case on side
New exhaust system
New pillion seat section
New tail lamp (covered here)

What’s carried over:

Same turn indicators
Same footpegs
Same Metzeler tyres
Almost similar front & rear suspension
Similar rear swingarm
Looks meaner than the current edition. Just love it!

I think the switch gear and adjustable levers will be for export bikes. Also they're talking about a second balancer shaft. And if you go by the new Duke 690 (which apparently, for the biggest single ever, is as smooth as a twin-cylinder bike), I'm thinking this new D390 will be a lot smoother than the current model.

Very exciting months ahead.

That's a gud bike design. Love it. Though like the current design as much. Isn't the current design better? Feature-wise the new bike is better though with seemingly reduced vibes, better pillion seat, instrument console, dual lamps, etc.

& Thanks to Bajaj & KTM for keeping the prices low.[emoji8] [emoji16]

One easy method is to pour some water around the tire and check to see if you find any bubbles emanating, if yes, then you have either a slight rim bend or a tire puncture/crack. Keep us posted.

Cheers!
