    There are basically 3 options:
    1. Pirelli Diablo Rosso II- I think price is around 9-10k. Not sure tho. But, life is short. Around 15-20k kms (Little more than Metz's),
    2. Michelin Pilot Street Radial- Rs.6k, Life of about 25-30 k kms,
    3. MRF Revz-C- Rs. 3k, Life- 30k kms+.
There are other options. But, these are the most popular choices.

I would say michelin pilot street radial are best for touring & regular usage. Will last longer than metz.

sorry brother but the revz-c doesn't last more than 20k (very optimistic)
currently running the michelin psradial on my d200 and it seems to wear a lot less than the stock mrf but ride comfort is nice and not puncture prone.

390 folks would want to pick up the revz-c1 (not revz-c). the revz-c1 (the new one with higher speed rating and softer compound) will last around the same or less (compared to revz-c that came on the duke 200)

considering vfm, the mrf revz-c1 is a no brainer imo, and it seems to be more easily available these days.
was quoted 2600rs for the front revz-fc1 when i checked last week.

+1 on the Revz - C1 part there, its a matter of safety, one that shouldn't be taken lightly. But I might actually get the Metzelers again, come next change or even try for Diablo Rosso 2s cause my riding style seems to be light enough for the Metzelers to last 15k + which is in my mind great for the kind of grip they offer. P.S I haven't ridden the Pilot Streets yet,so I am biased. And I will definitely looking to getting a TD of a bike with one before I change, cause my metzelers are definitely underutilized.
My second service is coming up and I am hoping to get a few quirks sorted out. Any one from Cochin here who has tips to handle the guys at our SVC. I got the first service dome at Kottayam and have zero experience with the guys at Cochin.
            Must ride on!

Have been riding a bike for 14years but just after buying this am found that there's lot to learn. No wonder why D390 is awarded the best entry level/trainers SBK by motorcycle .Com

I had so much confidence on bike when I did that. Could have done level 5 But got goose bumps and am little slow for level 5. Also thought level 5 should be done only on tracks no scraping of foot pegs on public roads [emoji1375]
Yes, the 390 is so confidence inspiring in corners. You can save the level 5 for tracks, not worth unnecessary risks on public roads

Hehe, that seems like a nice and safe turn! I used to do something similar while commuting in Blore, would take a slightly longer route just because it was more interesting! I should do the same now as well

4 The best run in method for the 390

Your owner's manual is the best bet. Different tactics works for different owners, but if you are unsure of what's happening around you, stick with the manual and follow the run-in procedures.

                  2. Since i was going to get the 390 on a Full cash payment. What are the precautionary measures needed to be taken?

Usually none. Make sure, you get the receipt from them for either a partial payment or full payment. They will also give you a preliminary invoice stating that you've paid certain amount with the dealer signed/stamped affidavit. Make sure you collect your receipts and vouchers. Usually they don't give any sort of discounts, but you can try asking for a discount for full cash payment.

For question number one, I hope Bangalore chums help you out.

Congrats on your new acquisition. Make sure you invest on a decent of of riding gear, especially helmet and boots.

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                  THE END

KTM Bannerghatta Road is one of the newer showrooms in Bangalore and I've heard good things about them. Purchase and Delivery experience is going to be the somewhat the same everywhere.

I'd suggest KTM Indiranagar, KTM Langford Road, KTM Bannerghatta Road.

Coming to service centers, it's hard to say which one is the best. There are a lot of happy and regular customers in service centers where I won't ever give my bike because I didn't like the way they did mine. So you have to see which one fits you.

                    Cheers!

I don't know about the other showrooms, I've heard good things about Langford, but please do avoid the Banashankari one for sure. BTM layout too I would avoid if possible, the guys there have a lot of attitude, but in a way at least they do wha you want, I did get the latest model etc etc., but attitude really spoils it.
I would also, while purchasing, make sure of the exact amount of the bike, the SVC manager at banashankari added 7 or 8k to the insurance, trying to sneak in secret profit. Apart from that, as long as you do your PDI, you'll be fine

1st option, Metzler M5 with Lower Rating (H I guess, stock I think is W rated, which is 270 KMPH limit)) is available at lower price. Almost same as Michelin.
2nd Option, Michelin Pilot Street Radial: Budget tire for 390. Best if you are not into race tracks or high speed cornering. Price around 4500.
I have been using this close to 23000 KMS. Load of tread still left (but have sidewall puncture).

Michelin Pilot street radial was 5400rs (in Nov 2015, absolute rock bottom price that i could find), some folks have recently told me that its now around 5800~6000rs. These are prices in hyderabad.
The cheaper one is the michelin pilot sport iirc (not a radial and available in the 140 section size)
A metzeler 150 section for 6k (or cheaper?) H rated is good enough for 210kmph.. Do let me know where I can get one in Hyderabad.

I got my rc a metzeler M7 RR at the price of M5.
Im loving the grip of this tyre even more, wet grip is just phenomenal and the trye has much rounder profile than m5
