Sure, will definitely post the pics once I get out of my bed 😀Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostCongrats Rakshit. Can you post some photos of the engine left/right sides, front brake rotor and rear and overall snaps of the bike, top view of the handlebar, etc, it'd help 2016 buyers to get an pretty good insight. [MENTION=24497]Veeral[/MENTION], I'd personally suggest you to get them front brake pads.
Cheers!

Excellent, Ivin. So, this is across the board I reckon and already implemented in the bikes that are rolled out of the factory? The current 2016 lots and NOK seal especially?Originally posted by Ivin View PostOne more change I forgot to say in 2016 model is the change in engine case. Its new and now houses bigger engine bolts
Just any tidbits on any engine componentry upgrades, on a technical level. Thanks.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Yes, they have already implemented and rolled out. yes, the 2016 models and has NOK seal. Check Rakshit's clutch case bolt size. Its bigger than what it used to be . (was 6 and now 10(not sure about numbers)).
No engine components have been changed or upgraded AFAIK. If anything, I will update here.
2016 models will have a more refined engine, but even I dont know how they did it

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
Hey guys.
Last week I emptied my motul lube can. So this time thought to go for some other brand.
Bought tribocor chain cleaner & chain lube.

The outcome is very foamy. Sprayed last night and I let it rest overnight. Rode to office approx 39kms. To my surprise this happened. [emoji116]

I think I over sprayed. Since it was all foamy couldn't judge. But this never happened with motul. Even if I over sprayed it never went this beserk. Not only Great power comes with great responsibility but also with Great RISK !!! Referring to SBKs...

Hi. Last time during chain lubing in svc, the wheel was rotated so fast that my rear orange rim was sprayed with MOTUL CC from the chain. After svc washing also the spots remained. I heard it goes with Diesel. I hv Kerosene with me. Will it do?Originally posted by Veeral View PostHey guys.

How to remove the black spots from the rear rim? Anybody done it before?

You can remove it with kerosene. I have done it several times before. Just make sure you wipe it off thoroughly so that it doesn't attract dust.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostHi. You can use the chain clean you have right now to remove all those stains. You have definitely over sprayed. Just 2-3 small sprays are sufficient to lube the chain.Originally posted by Veeral View PostHey guys.

Finallyyyy, I bought the ubiquitous mod![emoji4] [emoji4] [emoji16]

Also, a query: I've a Sparx S07 helmet which I bought around 3 yrs back. It had a scratch-proof visor. I clean the visor daily. Till date the visor is as clear as it was on Day 1. I was going to buy a new spare visor after 3 yrs but I thought "WHAT'S THE POINT"..
My question is DO MODERN DAY HELMETS NEED VISOR CHANGE IF MAINTAINED PROPERLY??Last edited by jack_daniels; 02-04-2016, 09:08 PM.

have you installed the bulb ? If not, whenever you do, let me know if there is any SIGNIFICANT improvement in beam throw.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostFinallyyyy, I bought the ubiquitous mod!

as for your visor question, if its clear and not posing a hindrance to your view then i see no point in changing it.
have you ridden at night ? because at night with oncoming headlights, the imperfections if any will be easily noticeable. If all is good, then use the current stock visor and maybe buy a new visor and keep it as a spare (sometimes its difficult to get hold of visors when you really need a replacement)
