One is a squeal and it will vanish if you ensure to get the pads removed and rubbed down on sandpaper every service. If you ride in very dusty conditions, I would suggest you rub the disc itself with a scotch brite pad and dishwash soap and rinse it off.
The other is a more of a high pitched whine-squeal that crops up after riding/using the brakes for a while (@ajay_vishwanath has this prob currently not sure if he has got it fixed.. he does hard braking often since he is a track guru). I had this issue and the sound used to come whenever the pads/rotor got warm (i.e. after riding about a bit). At first they rubbed down the pads, then replaced the pads and finally the rotor was replaced (under warranty at around 2500km on the odo). No issues since.

Cheers!
VJOnce upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Also, does all the new bikes undergo PDI by the dealers which includes body checking and engine checking where they check the motorcycle on the Dyno ?Last edited by smoker n doper; 02-01-2016, 03:58 PM.2003 - 2009 : Pulsar 150 Classic (Sold)
