This is one is DIY hand buffing.

This one is machine-buffed, done at electroplating shop. They do buffing before plating. They charged some 200 for buffing 2 levers.

AFAIK Duke got Pulsar levers, as per the KTM spare counter guy.
That looks awesome, exactly what kind of shop should I be looking for?

I mean to say that are these process done at a vehicle paint and repair shop or some other facility and for the part regarding pulsar and duke lever being same I can confirm that they look superficially same, but may not be a direct fit.

Is that fz yours, looks like somebody literally took the name naked street-fighter look .

Buffing is normally done at electroplating shops. If you are lucky, some neighborhood lathe or tinkerer will also do.

Friend of mine runs on 220 clutch lever as KTM guy refused to sell part over the counter, Sabin of D200 thread.

Guys. My friend polished his duke 390 and polished the matte plastic parts too with normal wax. The formula one wax in yellow tin you get from all accessories shops. Now its all faded and dirty and looks like crap. Especially the rear tail piece which holds the number plate. Any ideas to restore the original finish. Or atleast improve from the current state.

Same thing happened to me as well. After that wax polish dries up, it looks like stain and really dirty. Wash it with car/bike shampoo and then apply car dashboard shiner spray. If you dont have that, get the normal polish and apply it to that part. It will remove those stains.

Thanks bro , the OTR for me with a zero depreciation policy and KTM Orange Bike cover was Rs.2,32,500. Tell the dealer you don't want any of the accessories ( i chose only the bike cover for an additional 850 bucks). The bike was ready on the same day my payment was realized, i heard him 5 bikes are coming in the lot ( dont know whether there is an additional 390 in that) , the max delivery time it will take is around a week. Registration takes a day or two , bike number comes in 5-7 days ( i am yet to get my bike registration number).

Secondly I hope you have a Mysore resident address proof in your name , else registration will be an irritating procedure.

Regarding Registration and RC book, does anyone from Pune knows how much time it takes for RC book?

It almost 70 Days since purchase, still RC book not received. Showroom guys saying it could take upto 90 days
I had only road TAX receipt by RTO with me.

The RC takes *at least* 3 months... Max 4 months... This is pretty much standard for all new vehicles bought in Pune. I had to wait for around 3 months, my friend who recently got a RS200 has been through 2.

Don't worry though, as long as you have the road tax receipt & insurance on you it's fine.
Ride safe!

Yes, they do some measurement tests and validate the reading with the Diagnostic tool (Yes, the handheld).
I did not check the fault codes or etc.

They said the reading were bit wrong, so went for replacement under warranty.

May be if ridden 1000 kms per year.
But realistically, around 10-12 if taken good care.

Check the battery terminals. In my case that was the problem.
