FFE - Free flow exhaust.Originally posted by wingrider81 View Posthi sai,
whats ffe? so i can fit the k&n then powertronics immediately right. thanks.
you can install them both together, there wont be any problems. first i installed only the ecu, after a week i installed the air filter and after 6 months i installed the exhaust system. i didnt face any issues.
installing only the ecu, there was only a marginal improvement in performance over the stock.

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
Some updates on my KTM 390 Duke.
Distance clocked: 27750 KM
Stuff Changed Till now:
- Rear tire changed to Michelin PSR @ 14500 KM because Metz had puncture right in the middle just before my long trip. Metz still has 3000-4000 KM life left. Will put it back once Michelin life is done. Still good life left on Michelin
- Throttle Body and Fuel Pump changed under Warranty @ 15000 KM. (Bike used to stutter at 4000 RPM) Fuel pump was the culprit.
- Coil replaced as old one got burnt mysteriously.
- Left side Yok as RVM mount threading were gone. Price is 350.
- Removed Stock RVMs and setup RTR mirrors. They provide better view than stock once and prone to less vibrations. Pic below.
Stuff not changed (which was supposed to be changed generally)
- Front Metz is still stock one that came with bike. Does not want to die.
- Brake pads still the ones that came with bike.
- Chain and sprocket set not changed. Regular lubing and good maintenance drastically improves the chain life. But will change it at next service @ 30K kms.
Others:- Run on regular petrol (Essar and Indian oil). Specifically two petrol bunk.
- Mileage around 29-30 KMPL in city.
- Been some time I have hit highway. Las t time it gave 32 KMPL.
- Trouble free since the Fuel pump was changed.
- No Fork seal issues till now on my 390. (touch wood

It will work fine buddy, and if your 390 is a commuting tool too is better to stay away from these free flows, it will be very annoying to ride a loud bike after a tiring day of work.Originally posted by wingrider81 View Posthi i intend putting only the ecu and the k&n. hope thats ok?

Looks good and almost like a factory fit. Was that a direct fit? or holes to be drilled. Looks like you got your alloys painted as well? Does black get dirty more often than orange? or is it the same?Originally posted by Lingeshsaikumar View PostYamaha Ray z

Visor is not direct fit buddy, i didn't drill holes in visor, i made a bracket to bolt it on. I powder coated the alloy with in a week of purchase so i cant compare between orange and black, but orange will surly get dirty due to splash of excessive chain lubricant.Originally posted by faizan.ali View PostLooks good and almost like a factory fit. for your reference i have attached the pic of carton template that i made for reference before making one in aluminum.
