Hey Guys, I am facing very high vibrations on the fuel tank area.. I think it's the key hole which is causing.

Any idea about which service center should I opt for in Delhi??

Also if you could help me buy some of stuffs for the bike?

I need a new helmet(preferably orange/black) which could go with my bike and hand gloves, knee guard.. Where can i get all the stuffs at once?

Also I was wondering if Illumination Set is available as power parts of duke???

That is what the SVC guy told me as well. Just for confirmation, i checked this morning and the level had dropped further.
Had the engine oil drained and did not see any coolant mixed although I believe it might have evaporated once a part of the engine oil. I have a got a bottle of coolant and will top up today and observe for a day or two more.

Secondly, i feel the Idling of the bike is very rough lately. Feels like it is breathing in an out in pulses rather than having a constant sweet rhythm.
Any inputs on this? How do your bikes sound while idling?

There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

And well. Coolant leak, engine idling all aside. After a pathetic day at work, you see this waiting for you in the parking lot, just puts a smike on your face. Thats what great bikes do to you!

i am not looking for speed but am looking for a higher capacity bike that can do a good job of weekend rides without breaking down or giving trouble. as i mentioned the bike will be taken out only on weekends,to max to max the bike will do around 2000 to 3000 KMs in a year. i will upgrade to a 600+ in 2 years.
Visited the KTM showroom yesterday, inquired about the RC, SR told that the RC will be priced around 50k+ over the STD390, now that's out of my budget,
now that i have booked the CGT i am planning to cancel it and take a 390.Booking for 390 is 40K and waiting is 1 month for the Black D390,
what is pulling me towards the 390 is the reason that i already had 2 bullets ,,,,so why not try something different.
It is true that the bike has quite a few niggles, even the newer lots. You would most probably have your right shocker seal and head gasket changed by 10K kms. Even then D390 is more closer to a middle-weight bike than any other bike in this category. It can easily keep pace with an N650. Trust me, after riding Duke, you won't have any problem getting on a bigger capacity bike, the power delivery is that good. The difference between an RE and Duke is not just about the power or speed, its about handling as well. You think and the bike does it.
Besides you don't want to keep the bike more than 2 years, so I suggest you to go with the D390.

D390 is a very capable bike and i sure do want to have it, i was wondering if i can take the D390 as well as the CGT. would have to a dot of convincing and a lot of nagging and a lot more of prayer that i get an "YES" out of my financier (read family).hehehe. now ill have sleepless night and days too, as i would be dreaming of my parking lot gleaming with 2 new bikes (read 3 as the activa is also new).

I am fine, thank you. Hope you are as well. If you are planning to get both the bikes, then that means you can also get N300. Now think about the two new vehicles in your garage, Activa sitting beside the green speedster.

this bike has changed me so much that after buying this when a friend of mine has asked me to come to begumpet c-lounge (i stay and work in kompally) i didn't even think about it that too at 8 in the night if u have been there you would definitely know how the traffic is at that hour i immediately took off, would never have done that when i used to own the zmr

Hi, Deekshith, would love to see your posts regarding helmets being posted in the HELMETS section if you intend to post a photo, and you know why right. So this time you're forgiven, next time post them on dedicated threads.

Your cooperation would be much appreciated.

                      ======================

Here's a little visual treat for you guys.

Visually you can see the handgrips have been changed = Full marks
The rear set footpeg holder is black = Full marks again, would love the same in the Naked 390
The rear seat is an excellent icing on the cake, looks like a racing add on, yet practically usable. Kate Upton where are you!
Loved the new mirror setup, looks mean, how practical, only when one rides, will it be to feasible to comment, but full points on the mirror design change so I can see Kate back up there.
If I'm not wrong, slight design change in the switch gear too, I might be wrong.

All in, this makes me sad of the fact that I should have waited!

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                      THE END

Very much understandable. In many Indian cities rvms are considered ugly.

But I never expected a rider who doesn't wanna have rvms will be an xbhp member. I would like to know how you compensate for the mirrors in your riding. Both in cities and highways. Will you look back before a lane change etc?

D390 is happening for sure, but its what head is saying, heart is still thumping.
Barka ji the duke gives you the feeling when u cross the 7000rpm. it is not required and not happen in daily routine where a bullet gives the feeling when u start the engine and please not to get the gt instead go for normal bullet

Its not about ugly. Don't need it on the bike so don't have it.
Yes, I have to look back while riding. I do that even if I am riding a bike with mirrors. I glance into the blind spot.
I believe that mirrors are good to have but not an end all while riding.

And about xbhp membership, well, I ride safe and respect every fellow rider on the road. Doing this for the past decade or so sans RVMs.
