The sealant was applied to both the tyres .They say the sealant lasts upto the end of the tyres life and can take 20 to 30 punctures. They have given unlimited warranty also. It is just a fifteen minute job and they do door service. I think its worth the money. Should wait till the next puncture occurs, so that I can check how the sealant works. Thanks.
Does anyone know if Pune has this service?

        Hello all,

Pluto is doing around 10.5k kms mark and is ready for its 3rd servicing. The metz still look fine and can do another 4-5k kms. I wanted to know any other replacement instead of Metz. Something for road and not dirt or offroad.

You can easily get a tyre sealant and do it yourself. Follow the recommended dosage and it should be good for a long time.

I had got the front right fork seal replaced during my last (3rd) service at around 3000kms on the ODO about two months back. This was the first time I witnessed this job being done. I'm not sure if it was done in a correct way. The service guy had a tough time assembling the thing back again, he also spilled some of the fork oil, and I could see that the fork was not completely filled with the oil and had some space for air. I don't know if thats the correct way to do it or not. The problem is that, lately I started feeling that the front fork is diving too much on braking, and so, there not a proper response from the front brakes. The handling has changed a lot, and I'm having tough time in panic braking situations. The frok seals are fine as of now. What should I do?

Hell yeah!! Oh please tell me if you know anyone for this mod. I'm desperately looking for a projector that can replace the stock headlight. I'm based in Pune.

Chalta hi jata hai... 10.5k still going strong. Also, the costs of Front and Rear disc pads is around Rs 200-250 respectively. Much, much, much, much cheaper for the output and quality incomparison with other brands and bikes.

My thoughts exactly. Except for the projectors, I find my Duke better in all respects.. but then I am biased towards naked than faired :P . If someone can confirm if the projector can somehow be installed on the Duke, would might appreciate it.

Aren't there many people who have already installed projectors from outside market shops already, the ones with angel eyes ?

The battery is actually located next to the fuel tank in a small compartment. Saw it yesterday at KTM Baner, did not impress me as much. Also well worth mentioning, there was a weird looking handle near the pillion seat on right side. They said it was a mandatory thing according to ARAI..

You can go for Michelin, they have officially launched there tyres in India, you will get front tyre with exact same size but for rear you will have to go down by 10mm i.e. 140. In exact same size apart from Metz you will get MRF.

                                outside shops:
1.HID kits.if done proper they are fine and we get superior lighting.I have seen the other side-battery going kaput with these mods at the SVC.many kits have no real warranty as to the quality, output or life of the mods.and if its the lower quality one-gone battery of our Duke.not just Duke other bikes also.some shops have stopped HID alterations due to this.
2.led projector kit mod.costs as much as HID now. with projector and angel eye. looks cool.battery is safer due to led power requirements. no extra ballast required.but output for night riding is questionable.again these Chinese ones are, fine for looks. For looks.projector is just for show. not much gained other than 'white' light over stock lights.

third option of using osram night breaker. marginal increase in illuminance.
the point about factory projector setup is the quality and design aspect.rc does not have HID I believe, but the setup will do good on our KTM.

p.s.state highways here are pathetic when it comes to lighting.we get tube lights. yes the ones we use At home and that too only for one side at improper intervals.end up using high beam and driving blind because opposite also drivers do this out of necessity.
