Check your battery terminals as suggested. Loose battery terminals have a tendency to reset the readings to zero or sometimes show erratic speedo readings.Originally posted by flux52 View PostGuys facing a strange problem the odometer just reboots and average speed and time gets reset to zero... Anyone else facing similar problem

Yes it is possible to fix an analog tachometer, but why? Yes it's a little hard to read, but personally would I'd vote for the compactness the stock setup offers, plus you don't void on warranty -- if applicable.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostGuys. Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

1.5lakhs for Nov 2014 model is quite acceptable. If you are sure about the immaculateness of the vehicle, then it is a fair deal. :thumbup:Originally posted by rohanblade View Posti was looking for a used duke 390, and this guys turns up to sell his duke 390, 10k odo 2014 november model, immaculate condition, few ktm powerparts (wind shield, handle protectors, tank pad). now comes the money matter, i own a gixxer 2 months old he is giving me a quote of 1.5lac he is ready to take my gixxer for 80k and had to pay him 70k on top of it. m trying to negotiate but he is not willing to get low than 1.5 lac (gixxer+70k) . what do u guys have to say, would be a good deal? of should i try to negotiate 5k more? kindly advise.

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
I guess 1.5lac for 2013 model is too much.
1.1-1.2L would be fine for it.
On the other side. just for the sake of comparison. when i was in the market to sale my cbr250r std. in Sep. 2013. i was getting maximum 90k for 2012January registered. Even the kawasaki dealers were quoting maximum 80-85k.In the last i sold it for 90k.
On the other hand i really dont get that what is in the Royal Enfield. Even a 2-3 year old royal enfield costs only 10-20% Depreciated value in the used vehicle market. Check out the olx or other website.

These accessories being offered by the dealer? well LS2 is good as per the reviews and the windscreen is also required if you plan to tour. I feel a windscreen is needed for city rides above 90km/h. All the best and ride safe.Originally posted by Gunslingin_Ridr View PostGuys, I'm going to be booking a black Duke 390 tomorrow and I wanted to know what accessories are worth it. I've decided to go for MRA RNB windshield. And the LS2 helmet that they offer, is it any good?

Went for the fork seal change. The seal was replaced under warranty however leaking oil from the broken seal entered the brakepads and they had to be replaced. I had to pay for brake pads. Initially they wanted to charge me for labor as well but after I raised the 'Under warranty' part with manager, it was waived off.
Please be careful everyone - No labor charges for any warranty replacements.

Which ktm showroom should I buy from in Hyderabad
Hey guys I am arjun.
I have zeroed myself buying in a ktm Duke 390.
I own a Yamaha r15v2.0 and royal Enfield classic 350 so this would be my upgrade.
I have heard all the pros and cons about the ktm Duke 390.
The only thing which is bothering me is that we need to go to service twice or more than that to rectify the issue.
Guys please advise me which showroom provides best sales experience as well as service of the bike in Hyderabad.

My LS2 helmet has served me well for the past 2 months, If you like the design I suggest you buy it. If possible do try the mt helmets as well as they are almost similarly priced.Originally posted by Gunslingin_Ridr View PostGuys, I'm going to be booking a black Duke 390 tomorrow and I wanted to know what accessories are worth it. Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
No, they offered me a KTM PowerParts windscreen, but it looked small and I thought that wouldn't be of much use. Yeah, I go on tours of about 400km, so I've decided on that MRA windshield.Originally posted by faizan.ali View PostThese accessories being offered by the dealer? well LS2 is good as per the reviews and the windscreen is also required if you plan to tour. Will do. And is Orange Assistance worth it? You guys know where I can get a paddock stand for lesser than what KTM offers?Originally posted by trumpcard View PostMy LS2 helmet has served me well for the past 2 months, If you like the design I suggest you buy it.
