Yes, It was stalling in heavy traffic, even though the fan was running. The first time i complained, they checked the fan and it started running at 80-85'C i guess. So it was okay for them, then they changed the coolant.
The next day my bike stalled again, this time some other mechanic checked it with some device and it was not running at it's proper speed(rpm). He said we need to change the fan and it got replaced under warranty. Since then no stalling issue at all.

I did a 350 kms run on my RC when she was still in run-in. The temp. was not 40 but in 30s. Now at 3k odo, i think that long drive helped the engine run in better.
Just ensure that you do not continue at the same rpm for a long time and vary the throttle. Take 2 to 3 breaks.
Nothing like a long drive for a run in imo.
There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

Finally! Got Duke. And to end all my worries, it is the one with slipper clutch.

Had a lill scary moment this morning on my way to office.
On a thin single road, was overtaking a car. An auto was fast approaching from the other side. i decided to go anyways and generously opened the throttle. Did not realize that there was a thin line of water on the road. Probably dropped from a water tanker. the rear lost its line a bit in the middle of acceleration. Wasent prepared for it, so it was heart in the mouth moment. managed to gain control and move on.
The rear is michelin. Not sure the same would have happened on the metzs.

If there was mud along with that water even metz would have slipped.
But yes we need to manage more on the michelin rear.

just ot. I thought you had a CBR 250 ?

Yep, maybe it is due to the savage acceleration the bike is capable of but happend to me too. The other day, I was taking off and opened the throttle like I ususally do. No traffic light GP stuff but a normal one. The road was wet, thanks to a tanker.
The exact same thing happend to my Metz rear.

I have been more careful since then.

For usual service yes, they are as good. Only thing is they are terribly short on space.

Guys, two days ago i received my bike. Today I noticed two things-
                          1. While i m turning the handle slowly, putting my weight on it, there's a noise coming from the front, like something is dry and needs lubing.
                          2. Sometimes, even at neutral or holding clutch, when i m racing the engine, there's a 'woo' kind of noise coming from the front, probably from the fan.

Nice. But put back your RVMs and that was some crazy speed on the IT expressway. Don't cops catch you? There used to be an inteeceptor near Tidel Park right?

Must be the front disc pads, using a sandpaper may help.
