Nice, how much did this cost?Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostFinallyyyy, I bought the ubiquitous mod![emoji4] [emoji4] [emoji16]
Also, a query: I've a Sparx S07 helmet which I bought around 3 yrs back. It had a scratch-proof visor. I clean the visor daily. Till date the visor is as clear as it was on Day 1. I was going to buy a new spare visor after 3 yrs but I thought "WHAT'S THE POINT"..
My question is DO MODERN DAY HELMETS NEED VISOR CHANGE IF MAINTAINED PROPERLY??

I also use Yamalube chain lube, cost is somewhat similar to Motul, and IMO it's better than Motul, have to lube it every 650-700 kms in case of Yamalube whereas I had to lube 500 kms in case of Motul.Originally posted by D.j View PostYamalube chain lube is also present in market at a very cheaper price then motul and it works just like motul ..

I am not sure if its going on even now. But previously yamalube was motul with yamalube sticker. Don't know about the current situation. Actually few years back if you peal away the yamalube sticker you would see motul sticker inside..Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostI also use Yamalube chain lube, cost is somewhat similar to Motul, and IMO it's better than Motul, have to lube it every 650-700 kms in case of Yamalube whereas I had to lube 500 kms in case of Motul.
Even I have the sparx s07. Where can you buy a spare visor?Originally posted by judebrent View PostFor what quantity?

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
Since you haven't installed it yet, can you post the following pics here:Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostNo, I haven't installed as yet. But, got to know from a member here itself that it's TOTALLY worth it.
1. Stock lighting low and high beam on a normally lit street in the night
2. Stock lighting on a dark stretch (not in parking, but preferably a place where one can judge the throw)
Repeat the above two after replacing with the Phillips.
Please post these 4 pics, it may give those planning on using the bulb a fair idea on the improvement if any.
I would pick up a bulb if the improvement is significant..for now i am happy with the stock bulb

I guess I'll have a repeat of your experience in a few hours when I get to ride my bike for the first time.Originally posted by judebrent View PostBetween 2008-12 I owned the Apache Fi 160
Reached home early morning, but bike isn't here as my uncle has taken it for registration to Alappuzha (My family lives in Cochin now). I know, I should have taken the bike myself, but that isn't practical because I stay in Trivandrum temporarily for a training thingy.
Checked the VIN and my bike is a NOV 2015 model, not surprised as I booked and got the bike allotted in DEC. Not disappointed one bit for getting an older model because this is the culmination of almost 2 years of waiting. Gonna pick up new riding gear tomorrow and mostly take things slowly for at least a week. Gotta ride to TVM on Sunday and back to sitting in front of a computer.
God.....I am so freaking excited!!!! I'm probably gonna babble on and bore you guys to shit.Must ride on!

hahah, just enjoy the ride though. Even I got a Nov, 15 as per VIN even though I booked in Jan! Anyways, it's okay
You'll notice the throttle open up nice after 200 KMS or so

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
Got to take the bike out for a short ride by around 10:30. Loved every bit of it, but it was too short to make any real observation except that the chain is bone dry. Gotta lube it first thing in the morning. And I'm struggling with being smooth on the on-off throttle throttle transitions. But that's probably because I have only ridden the bike for 3 KMs. The slipper clutch basically negates my rev matching skills. But I am pleasantly surprised that the seats dont seems hard to me, though that is the popular opinion.Originally posted by judebrent View Posthahah, just enjoy the ride though. Around Rs.650/-. I was thinking of buying in local shops but there are plenty of fakes. Finally bought from Amazon. This one's made in Germany. Original Philips product.Originally posted by judebrent View PostFor what quantity?
