Guys. Whoever bought their Gixxer or Gixxer SF on or after June 1st, Get their tankpad for free. Suzuki is giving it for free for Gixxer customers. Dealerships are selling them separately. I literally fought with my dealer and got my tankpad.

Yesterday I have installed Hella Strongtone horns along with PMP Relay(cut-out).though it hasn't got the sound that I've wished for, these are pretty loud. I like old pulsar's dual horn(which has low frequencies. Kinda deepsound than loud). But these are too high in frequency(both high and low tones) and sounds almost like the Horns in skoda cars.

In Delhi also they are giving it for free. But my dealer seems slow. I have still not received registration number. Dealer had also misspelt my name in insurance documents [emoji31]. Got my name corrected. It is frustrating as I can use my bike only nearby due to temporary number.

Is it suitable to change the chain set or any other idea to stop the sound. Already lubed and cleaned but no result.
What could be the price for the chain set?
                Please share some ideas.
                Thanks in advance.
I have changed mine at 2nd paid service. cause some engineer there suggested to change after 20-21k kms.

500 rpm? It's too less. Change the idling to 1000-1500 rpm and try again ,that should solve.

Has anybody installed a replacement Air Filter? There doesn't seem to be a specific one for the Gixxer from K&N. Please share your experiences and the product details.

Yes, it makes that sound the moment you crank your bike on a cold morning. The bike lugging, you can either use choke may be for 30seconds immediately after cranking up the engine and then turn off the choke, by now idle should be around 1k to 1.25k rpm steady. I would recommend, on a hot engine try to set the idle at 1.5k rpm exact this would eliminate the khat khat sound you described and it feels best because when you turn on the headlamp, the idle would now be at 1.25k-1.5k rpm as per suzuki manual recommendation. Hope this helps.

                              Cheers,
