Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Spark plug for sure, if you didn't replace it in the last 10-12k kms. Having run 24k, you should have atleast once replaced fork oil, re-greased the steering cones, wheel bearings, etc in this period. Is the chain-sprocket still the factory set?Originally posted by HeManu Yeluri View Post

How much mileage are you getting bro?Originally posted by prab1990 View PostFinally received the registration number after 10 days!! Rto is very slow. The hsrp number plate will take another 7-10 days [emoji17]
I am getting only 45kmpl which is very less for sane riding(below 4.5k RPM, and below 50kmph just 2-3 times would have crossed 50kmph that too for very short period). Is there anything i have to do to get good mileage?
PS: I am using shell petrol

Selling due to SVC or faults un-rectified in bike ?

Suzuki Gixxer 155
I haven't checked my mileage yet. I have done only 150 kms and I don't think I will get an accurate reading right now. I will start checking after 1000 kms. How many kms have you done? If bike is still in running in period I suggest wait for it to be over before calculating mileage.Originally posted by gnan10 View PostHow much mileage are you getting bro?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi Guys, I'm posting here as fellow Gixxer riders are active in this thread.
My have clocked 8500 kilometers on my Gixxer and This service i asked service center guys for Motul 7100 10w40 (Fully synthetic) Engine oil.. However they said suzuki recommended engine oil is better which is IDEMITSU 10W40 .. they said its fully synthetic.. During payment i noticed it just costs 340/- I highly doubt this is fully synthetic engine oil.. Now that i have it in my bike After how many kilometers should i go for Motul? Or should continue with this one? Right now bike seems to be doing ok with current oil.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Even I asked the SVC to change motul 10w40 FS that I will order online, they told idemitsu is fully synthetic and they told changing some other oil like motul or shell will void warranty. Recently I went for stator coil replacement under warranty there they checked my all service bills and in that they checked for oil change too and they clearly told if u r not replacing oil in any one of the service or changing some other oil will void warranty.Originally posted by rav3n6 View PostHi Guys, I'm posting here as fellow Gixxer riders are active in this thread.

So are we talking about 3 years Engine warranty? Its absurd if they have such policy because i really want to switch to some good engine oil.
