No brother, apply little amounts with a small sponge and then use cotton cloth to finish off.
try 5 Rs pouches first. you can find them in any accessory shop. buy 1 pouch each of different brands and use them after washing your bike. then which ever gives the best result, buy a bigger bottle of the same.

        3. very prone to mud.. cant reach my office with clean shoes
        4. After riding in rain its chain lubes goes off and one "tak tak " sound comes from sprocket part..!! is it common ??
        5. RPM comes down to 0.5 automatically after riding 200-300 KM..dont know how.!!! (It was set to 1.5)

          1. Not sure about Horns

          2. HID light is compatible and you can install one but it will void all warranties on bike.. Im planing to get one for long trips.
          3. Mud guard in front of engine will do. It looks ugly so not getting one. PS: I have made peace with my dirty office shoes.
          4. "tak tak" sound is common and annoying as hell. Try lubricating chain after 3-4 rainy rides.
          5. RPM should not come to this down by itself, better get it check at SVC.

Hi brother, I'm afraid there is nothing we can do for the scratches. Even I have many scratches on my bike thanks to neighborhood kids and jackasses who don't have respect for other people's property. It is worse if the bike's color is White or Blue, scratches show most in these colors.

Use a wax polish for metal parts like tank, front mudguard etc. Formula and waxpol are good polishes, this will cover up small scratches and will protect the paint from sun. Use the dashboard polish for black plastic parts, it is slippery like oil and gives best shine to black parts.

            • Battery Help

I own a gixxer, it has a 4 amp battery, 35/35 watt headlight bulb, now I have installed a 55/60 Phoenix( earlier halonix ) bulb as the stock is good only in villages with no electricity, not even in street forget highways.

Now while starting, the meter goes blank and starter stops in middle, so I'm thinking of plonking an Amaron battery be it silver pro or whatever they have to offer. What I want to know is how much ampere can my bike handle as it has space for a bigger battery, how to measure the maximum ampere battery a bikes dynamo can charge easily. Daily commute 10+ kms.

I'm going to service my bike today evening and this is the 6th(paid) service. I have clocked 9k+ KMS. Any specific pointers to watch out, please let me know.

                  Thanks.

After Servicing also the sound is coming still. problem is when i accelerate there is a very weak sound is coming from engine, and rpm is between 2-3, and not going beyond this very quick. when i reach 4-5 rpm and slowing down at signal in 2nd gear the sound is coming again.

P.S. The store manager said when asked about faulty spares " we don't manufacture the spares sir, they will come from suzuki and we just replace it". im telling you guys, stay away from gixxer, dunno about sf.i loved my bike when bought it, now i just want to throw it away.

Just General Service is enough after 9k, unless you have any issues.

Thumbs up to the quality (and usability) of mirrors. Read a couple of RVM cracking cases in this forum.

ADVICE: Please take extra care of the mirrors.

QUESTION: Anyone changed the RVM in gixxer to a useful and better quality ones?
I have changed the mirrors to install RVM from normal gixxer. The visibility of rear is now very good.
I'm curious, if you have made changes to RVM from the time you made the above post!!

Finally received my hsrp number plate today. Almost 20 days since delivery of my bike, nothing much to report. The bike is running fine. Covered little over 200 kms.

My have clocked 8500 kilometers on my Gixxer and This service i asked service center guys for Motul 7100 10w40 (Fully synthetic) Engine oil.. However they said suzuki recommended engine oil is better which is IDEMITSU 10W40 .. they said its fully synthetic.. During payment i noticed it just costs 340/- I highly doubt this is fully synthetic engine oil.. Now that i have it in my bike After how many kilometers should i go for Motul? Or should continue with this one? Right now bike seems to be doing ok with current oil.
Hello guys I have been riding a Gixxer which is fairly new and has clocked around 1800kms. The SVC I visit use Motul for everything; right from engine oils to chain cleaners to lubricants. Yayyy[emoji2] . And somewhere in the showroom I saw an advertisement chart which says that Suzuki recommends Motuls for all of its vehicles.

                          • Battery upgrade for Suzuki Gixxer 155

Fellow Riders, hope you all are enjoying your monsoon rides. Please help me with some advice regarding upgradation of battery for my gixxer. The stock battery which has a wattage of 4ah is not enough for running with a 55/60 halogen bulb. Hence I'm thinking of installing a Amaron battery with 7ah. Can i just plug it? Or will some extra mods has to be done? Of course I'm going to change my blinkers, pilot lamp and number plate illuminator into LEDs so as to decrease the load on the battery. Please suggest and advice in likewise manner. Thank you and Ride safe.

Hello fellow riders. I'm thinking of replacing the stock Turn signal Indicators of my Suzuki Gixxer to LED units. Can I just buy the ones from Duke 200 or Pulsar RS200 and plug it directly? Or will I have to make some extra mods. Please advise accordingly. Thank you.
