Be cool bro. AFAIK you can get extended warranty from any suzuki dealership across India not only where you bought your vehicle, please check with some other suzuki dealership.

Today I called Suzuki on road assistance as it was impossible to ride the bike. He visited & could solve the problem. As it turned out, the accelerator cable was fine, but the pin inside the carburetor which regulates the quantity of fuel entering the engine (throttle pin) was stuck at one point as a result of which the fuel was flowing into the engine at uncontrolled rates. He moved the pin by opening the inlet of the carburetor & oiled it due to which the pin started functioning normally again & the problem was solved.
I never heard of such a problem & if it happens while riding, it may cause an accident.

Let's hope it doesn't happen again. Still, you have the clutch lever and engine kill switch at your controls all the time. I hope someone experienced with carb gives you some reassurance/advice too.

I think he refers to the pin below the diaphragm?
The function is similar to a butterfly valve but it is by means of a jet needle (throttle pin) & not exactly a butterfly valve.
Hey Guys!

I'm a proud owner of Suzuki Gixxer SF (blue). My query is about polishing and waxing.

How do you manage to polish the black plastics of the bike? I mean the tail section and the front - if you know what I mean. I'm sorry I don't know the exact term to describe them. I applied Amways auto polish (not wax) on them but it has left sort of patches on the plastics. Now it looks faded which is spoiling my bikes looks. I consulted the service guys, they suggested to apply a coat of diesel every week to get the shine - However I don't want to do that.

                      Please advice.

Apply dashboard polish or tyre shampoo, but they will give a wet look.

Motomax is the cheapest to begin with. Formula 1 is the most commonly available one and not so costly. Armorall, Meguiars, 3M, etc. are great stuffs.

When I have polish over plastic parts, I remove the white stain with a deep rub with diesel or WD40, but its 50:50 and won't go from textured surfaces.

                                Hey guys.
Was just inspecting my bike today when I noticed this hole...seems like an outlet?

Us this there on all gixxers , or is it covered by a nut/bolt.

Iam guessing it's an outlet to drain excess water or remove dirt/grime. Please do check and let me know
