Regarding the horn and lights, in the official review of Xbhp they have recommended to go to 55w but not sure if any changes in relay are required. Regarding horn I liked Roots windtone horn on my friend's pulsar, it is the same one that comes with Volkswagen/skoda cars.it costs nearly Rs 850. You can try Bosch symphony horn also

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I guess there is a problem with the battery itself, anyways will be visiting the service centre next week and get it sorted. Will update here what i did. As for the lights and horn, will there be any problem with the battery if i change them?Originally posted by thousifkhan24 View PostHello, I am in the same boat as you, my bike is 40 days/300 kms old. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
My suggestion would be first we will get the battery issue sorted then we can think about the light and horn.if we do it now the service center guys will blame everything on lights and bulbs and will not take responsibility.Originally posted by Manik Agrawal View PostI guess there is a problem with the battery itself, anyways will be visiting the service centre next week and get it sorted. They come with insane arguments that your fittment are not Suzuki authorised and warranty is void.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
How to get rid of tickling sound in Suzuki gixxer while on acceleration?
I am having Suzuki Gixxer 155 (Std. single disc) with 30000+ KMs. Recently I have changed the Chain Sprocket and after changing, I rode about 9000 KMs on new chain sprocket. Recently, my bike started giving high noise like tickling sound while it is on the gear and while giving acceleration. If I pull clutch, there is no sound. My technician checked and he could not find any fault in the sprocket and chain. But, I am feeling like sitting on a saw while hearing that sound. Even bike gives vibration while that sound comes.
The sound comes like once in a second when I ride in the speed of 50 kmph. Chain is frequently lubricated with the chain spray as well as oil sometimes. In both lubricantrs, sound is same. Tooth of the sprocket at both end are proper and chain also not over tight/ over loose. It is in medium. Please someone help me on this how I can solve this.

Can you just elaborate little bit more?Originally posted by sazzy View PostGuys two days back i went on the highway ride on my gixxxer(2015 model) for first time(500kms up and down). When ever i cross 90km/hr speed the bike starts to jerk. What may be the problem? I recently serviced my bike.
'jerk' in the sense is it vibration on footpegs or on the handlebar.or is it engine running out of breath.
By the way how many kilometers did the bike run in these 2years?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
IIRC, Eddy pointed out this once - culprit might be chain lock. Since it is not costly, try replacing it. Fix it in proper direction.Originally posted by Thilakrajb View PostHow to get rid of tickling sound in Suzuki gixxer while on acceleration?

It is the engine which is running out of breath. Just imagine when the bike has very little petrol left. 20000 kms completed.Originally posted by thousifkhan24 View PostCan you just elaborate little bit more?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hey guys. It's been 1 year and 3 months since I got my bike (dual disc variant). I have done around 22k KMs. And lately I've notice my tyres are worn out specially front tyre. I'm thinking of replacing them with a new set (stock size).
For the front I've seen on mrf site there are 2 variants available zapper FX and zapper FX1. Can anyone tell me what's the difference between the two?
Also what are the other alternative for the front tyre apart from MRF zapper?
Now, for the rear I wish to stick to the stock tyre MRF Revz M. But saw MRF launched new tyre Masseter (claiming to be cornering friendly). Although it's not stock size (Masseter is 140/70). And it's bias ply tyre and not radial. Will it effect the handling of the bike?
I'm looking for tyre that has good cornering ability, good feedback and wet performance.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Sagar, try not to use C spanners as much as possible. Bigger nuts like this one will tolerate but those those like 12 or 14 mm won't. Buy 6-point sockets and a rachet or L handle with extension. Also, if the axle nut is not properly tightened, one might have vibrations or adjustment might change.Originally posted by sshinde555 View Post
