1500 KMs on odo , right side fairing is vibrating a lot, checked all nuts .. all looks ok.

The main reason is i did lot of cornering(@ lavasa) and engine braking.

Cross check again whether its fairing or your battery cover on the tank. Conduct the test by pressing your battery cover while riding and find out who is the real culprit.

Wanted to know the options I have with the projector bulbs.. Can I change to something brighter and whiter in the same wattage as stock?
There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

If you want white shade then you can go for Philips 4300k or 5000k... Thats all i know..

Guys I know many are waiting for a proper review from me but am not getting enough time from family and work. So whatever I can I am jotting it down now.

I went for a solo trip for about 750 kms in 34 hours on this bike and trust me its great fun now. Only issue is the seat now, too hard. The front end feels really light now.

With knee guard I could have gone further

After the handle change the cables are little streched

So cut this cable fastener and it ease the cables a bit.

The handlelock is useless now so I am using a disc lock and looking for a disc lock with alarm like Xena xx6. Secondly the lock mechanism is completely exposed now. To protect it from rain I have cut a plastic bottle and made a cap for it. It can be seen in the first picture.

As for the stance I couldn't get a picture yet but shall upload it soon.

                  Queries are always welcome

                      Hi,

                      Just had 100 kms trip.
                      Bike is doing well.
Observed that rear disk of brake is very hot, if you touch it will burn fingers.
Immediately called service center and imagine what the reply is??
Service center guys saying that its common thing with rc .
Rear disc become hot when you drive and there is nothing to worry.

Guys need serious advice. Is it true?

Well as far as I know disc become hot when they are used this is normal. Whenever we apply break there is friction between pads and discs and that gets them hot yeah it may burn you if you touch it immediately. It's normal thing. But if you are trying to say that you didn't use your rear brake in complete journey than the problem might be that rear break pads are touching the discs so you should get the clearance checked

                          Thanks man
I was using mostly front brake and very rarely rear disc brake.
Still rear brake disc is getting very hot as compared to front.

what's up with the cast levers? the slightest impact makes them fall apart..why didn't this bike get forged levers? my gear lever broke apart from a slight impact..for a premium bike..these cheap parts are a let down..

So much of silence and inactivity here (including mine). I guess thats a happy sign. A sign indicating content owners and lesser troubles probably.
I have covered about 4800 km on mine and am happy with every aspect of it. Barring a few niggles, like tightening the side stand every now and then along with ensuring the continuous presence of my 3M double side tapes to let me focus on what i love to hear, everything else is just so perfect.
Three days back, filled up with normal petrol for 100 bucks to reach fuel pit of my choice, and i could sense the protest made by engine by showing me coarse behavior. After regular fill, it was back to its pleasant mode. So how do you guys manage to fill your bikes every time with premium, particularly on tour. I have heard of some performance boosters to rate up the octane, but would love to hear from someone, who had put them to use.
Also i have been improving my riding (cornering) skills. Have been able to go past the No. 4 and midway to No.5. Though the elephant is still elusive but almost around the corner.

May I know which was your regular fill of petrol? I have a Duke 390 and I refuel at Shell with normal petrol.
