Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Im also planning leh this year.
For touring.
1. One major thing which helps in touring is cycling shorts. They just do magic to your bum, and the buttpain which used to come very early, now comes after say 2-3hrs or more.
2. Have a good big tank bag, to rest your front body from time to time.
3. Viaterra claw/other such tail bag.
4. If riding with pillion, ask him/her to grip your body with their thighs.Motorcycling heals, big time...

Am planning once the winter ends. Most probably on March 2016.. PUNE - LEH - PUNE.
I have 6 months to save money,leave and to start exercising.Last edited by Venkat0412; 08-26-2015, 01:54 PM.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
I currently own a Fazer which has been cared like a baby, to say the least. Want to upgrade to the RC390. I would like to know what are the issues/disadvantages of this bike? It will be an outright cash purchase and can I haggle for a discount? (We are Indians,and we love discounts!
)
Is there a waiting list for delivery?
What mileage am I looking at,if ridden sanely?

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Well it's an insane bike . If ur looking for comfort this ain't ur bike. Touring is also a con as the fuel tank is small plus the riding position. But if u have the need for speed than this is ur bike.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Holding it at the moment. Had a talk with a few superbikers and their ownership feedback is making me think twice. Also the 10R is due for an update. Am in two minds before shelling out that huge amount. What the owners had to say was, "You can't park/take it everywhere,occassional sunday highway rides are all that you can do with it.If you're okay with shelling 18 lacs for that, you can buy it."Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postaren't you already getting a zx-10r on other thread ?Last edited by SpeedyKol; 08-28-2015, 11:49 AM.

Why not checkout the new R-3? Riding position is also comfortable.Originally posted by SpeedyKol View PostHolding it at the moment.
