I am about to upgrade to a new bike.
I'll be honest, i love ninja 300 but i dont have the money to buy n to maintain it.

I respect ktm(s) (duke & rc) but never felt like getting one. Then a day came when i got to ride one of these bad boys.
Before getting on the bike i was like "parts, fit & finish could be better, overall quality could be better blah blah blah...) but when i got on it and rode it i was like fu*k it! This thing is awesome.
Man that motor is too damn sweet, i dont care if it vibrates(RTR owner here), i like the vibration and love the power and the awesome chassis.
I dont care if it heats a lot, i dont care if it doesn't hv the best quality, i dont care if the tank is small, i can manage all that but the amount of fun i had on this, i've never had on any.
It felt just awesome and thats all that matters rest all can be managed
      Will be getting one soon

Its a fatal attraction i swear.. for guys who have svc in their cities its not a big deal if something goes kaput but for me the only thing is reliability.. Noida is 150kms away.. Cant go there every single time the radiator stops working or some other problem happens or god forbid it has an accident.. thats whats keeping me cautious.. my yammy has been a beast but it still required a visit to svc apart from services plus the accident..

We had left the bike to Mekhri circle Ktm and they said the valve seals are gone and they have replaced it under warranty .

Now comes the worst part after we got the bike back the white smoke is more and their is oil dripping at the end of the silencer.

This is just a 3months old bike and the way smokes comes out as if its a two stroke bike

I'm planning to contact KTM as after replacing the seals their is some rattling noise and oil is dripping from the silencer .

I think you should change the petrol pump you are getting your bike fueled from . Could be petrol adulterated with kerosene which causes white exhaust smoke .
And then the lord said "Let there be Bike": And there was bike
And the lord saw the bike, and it was Goooood!

I went to the KTM showroom in CP , New Delhi today to sort out some documents . The manager said that slipper clutch won't be coming this year or the next , expect it maybe next year or the year after , most likely .

Goddamnit , now I am having nightmares , my bike is expected in a week or two . But seriously , people really are total a-holes when it comes to respecting someone else's property . They all want a piece of the action and when the scene isn't theirs , they make sure to ruin it for others .

I hope that you catch them red handed and get all the damages/scratches fixed by them or if they dont , whoop their asses real good .

They should put it in RCs also. After All they are termed as track focused motorcycles and slipper clutch is extremely useful on tracks.

Yesterday went for a spin on my RC after a gap of 3 weeks.

I noticed the accln was a tad slower and the top speed that I could get was 154kmph. On previous instance when I had tried full throttling I could get to 166 kmph with some throttle still to go.

The mileage dropped from 24kmpl to 18kmpl. could this be due to dirty air-filter or some other reason.

My guess is the piston rings have worn out , or oil leak through gasket failure....The 390 comes with Nikasil bores, so early wear of bore is not expected unless engine is run with less or no oil. Take it to SVC and try to get the problem sorted within warranty, since problem is associated with engine..In the meantime Keep checking and topping up of the oil level since engine is consuming oil and may lead to seizure.

So I have been trying to replicate an issue that a few of us have faced with the ABS being extremely intrusive to an extent where it doesn't let the brakes engage at all. Has anyone else faced this issue. KTM claims they have had no such issues reported but I definitely feel the ABS is faulty

That happens only in case of proper slush/gravel.

Nope, proper tarmac, no feedback from front or rear. First happened when the bike was just a few days old. Since it is used mostly on the track I have the ABS turned off most of the time so I have no issues on the track however while riding to and from the track the issue crops up randomly. All checks have come up with nothing, I kept thinking this was an issue with my bike till I recently rode a friend's brand new Duke 390 and it had the same issue. This led me to wonder if this is an issue with the 2015 bikes or has it always been there and there is a way to fix it.
