For eg. If the product is for 100$(6200-6300Rs.), the product after duty charges will definitely be in the range of 8000-9000Rs.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Depends on what's the amount and type of the product. I guess up to 40$(don't quote me) there is no duty. After that it depends upon the type of product. To be on the safe side you can take an approximate amount of 50% duty charges. It'll definitely be less than than.Originally posted by ynike99 View Post

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hi ThanksOriginally posted by nilesh9777 View PostCongrats !! pics and pics and pics please.
Any new upgrades on your RC??
Didnt take any more pics. Sorry.
Can't see any upgrades and from what the dealer told me nothing new in the near future.
Rode it only for a few km. Super smooth. Engine revlimited to 5000 rpm. Gear shifts were solid and positive. Personally I felt the front brake was sharp and even one finger pulls were easily stopping the bike.
RVMs for me at least gave me a fairly clear view behind.
Little tip: to avoid wrist pain grip the tank with your knees and sit a bit more upright rather than leaning heavily forward putting strain on the wrists.
Did notice two negatives though the second one really is more down to me and not the bikes fault.
Felt a fair bit of heat around the thighs and fan kept cutting in. Though mind you it is hot in hyd and I was in quite a bit of traffic.
Other issue is purely down to genetics lol. I am 5' 6'' and though i could get my toes down (was wearing mocassins today but normally would be wearing proper Blytz riding boots which add an inch to my height lol the joys of being short) I found it difficult whilst stopping and riding slowly in traffic. Also bear in mind its a fairly chunky bike and for us shorties if it starts tipping over it could difficult to hold it!!! Clearly this wont be an issue for most riders.
Two mods am looking at are:
To see if I can lower it a bit

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
I have the one avail for Rs3,600. The Helmet is decent. But better ones are available is what Ill say.Originally posted by abhijeet080808 View PostNice trip!
If you don't mind, a quick review on the MT helmet at speeds above 100?
1) The Helmet is heavy - While this can be new to adjust initially, it really helps at high speeds coz the helmet remains absolutely rock solid. It also has a D-ring strap lock which I like now over others. Polycarbonate material MT Heltmets are also there startin around 7K (i think) which will be noticeably lighter.
2) The visor does not close perfectly and there remains a visible small gap on the right side. I found this pretty dissapointing given I consider it a hygiene issue and something which does not take too much effort to rectify.
3) Wind-Noise - There is wind noise and starts creeeping in around 100kmph. (to help give magnitude - If you put headphones, then at about half volume the sound form the headphones will cut out all wind-noise.). Personally I did not find wind-noise bothersome, I can easily live with it. The shape is also kinda aerodynamic, which maybe helps not have wind blast - My jacket was feeling more wind resistance than my Helmet (unless I turn my head to look sideways etc :P)t. On the bottom side there is a Chin-cover cloth which closes the helmet well fom the bottom and I think this could be why the wind noise was not too much. I havent ridden on other helmets so can't compare as such.
4) Comfort - High. I like the shape of the helmet, it fits my head quite well. After about 2 hours my right ear felt a little discomfort, but Im sure that is coz the helmet is new. There are no unecessary pressure points on the head. And while the helmet fits snug and touches most of the head, it does not make your head implode :P . Also the shape fom the bottom is that of a inverted Banana, so it covers you chin completely (or more) but does not restrict neck movement.
Ofcourse is DOT/CE certified (Rating 22.2 i think). Which gives peace of mind. Look are also good.
Overall good Helmet. If they had a better finish of the visor when closed, would have been super and maybe have lesser wind noise too.
Cheers!Last edited by Shantnu; 03-06-2015, 10:34 AM.

This is the KTM Ajo Moto 3 team. You might have to add more of orange to make it look like a moto3 and a red bull sticker for sure.
