Can somebody tell me if I do a remap and keep my exhaust stock will this be of any use. I mean I dont care about top speed and no power gain I just want it to be linear and smooth and no engine braking.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
It's as basic as a see saw u need weigh both the ends to get it in motion similarly to increase performance slapping just an exhaust or just a re mapping won't give u power gain. Ideally to improve performance u need to do the following steps (personally I am half way there few more parts n Tara)Originally posted by ammaity View PostCan somebody tell me if I do a remap and keep my exhaust stock will this be of any use. 1) Free flow exhaust such as the Akrapovic or Arrow a full system rather than a slipon.
2) Air filter like K&N
3) piggyback ecu or bazza ecu with custom race maps which removes the limiters.
4)after market sprocket the number off teeth depending on the kind off performance more the teeth more the acceleration lesser the teeth more increase in top speed.
5)speak plus also plays a major role helping better ignition.
And optional
QuickShifter !!!
Hope this helpsI dont ride bike to add days in my life. I ride bike to add life in my days

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
yes, i've read all that.. not only that but I did send Kiirus an email with a set of questions as an inquiry. lets just say that they did not give answers.Originally posted by ammaity View PostLook at their website what they have to say about other remaps.
am not sure if udmotorx and kiirus are the same now... what i mentioned earlier is from what I had seen and heard earlier that they tied up with kiirus for providing remaps.
Hello Everyone (UD MOTOR X - ECU Remaps)
Remapping and turning my Linea into a beast by UD MOTOR X | Team Fiat
The racedynamics piggy back on the other hand is a plug and play programmable device and it does make a difference on how a 390 behaves and can be tweaked yourself (provided you educate yourself on how to remap and the parameters involved).

I'm torn between having sliders and not having them as I have heard the frame getting damaged due to sliders .
How much is the dealership quoting you for the bike ? What about interest rates , if opting for finance option ?Last edited by Ajeet Padhi; 09-03-2015, 08:00 PM.And then the lord said "Let there be Bike": And there was bike

Onroad price of rc390 is 2,75,875...
I would be paying 1.20 lk and basing on bajaj finance..

Sadly I don't have the RC , yet . The CP showroom in Delhi has bikes from June-July lot , I would prefer to get a bike from the August lot if possible .Originally posted by VYSHAKH VJ View PostThankzz broo..

The posture is something you will get used to with time . Just keep your arms relaxed and elbows bent , while hugging the tank with your legs .
For some real advice by the professionals , I would recommend Keith Code ( Founder of California Superbike School ) . This video has been proved inspirational and educational over and over and over again .
Enjoy the videos and music that you love, upload original content and share it all with friends, family and the world on YouTube.

I'm in the same boat as you . I never had any real experience with sports bikes as such and never have gone over 200cc ( except karizma ) . I have ridden scooters and activas extensively though . Pulsar , Splendor , CBZ , Karizma , Discover are few of the bikes I have ridden on various occasions . On the Splendor I have spent some time , as my bro had one some years back . But I wont call myself a full fledged rider . I'm more comfortable driving a car , but then , riding a bike is just divine . Especially when you get to ride something this good .
I did test rode Duke 390 , RE Conti GT cafe racer , R15s last month when I was narrowing down my choices . RC390 vs GT Cafe Racer actually were the choices and KTM turns out to be more practical with better features and technology .And then the lord said "Let there be Bike": And there was bike
