The RVMs are adjustable. They are just really tight and give you an impression that they will break.. But they won't and like any normal RVMs, they move in all directions.. Just that they are tight.

While adjusting the RVMs, just make sure you cup your both palms while holding the RVMs like giving them full support from back and then twist them with increasing pressure to just enough to move them.

They are just really really tight. They are all just fine.. Trust me..

i would say yes. but its pretty small a difference to be bothered about and its definitely not as different as posted by somebody else here with his adjustable levers.

Get a good second hand ninja. You already own a d200. So there's no point to buying a bigger d200. Opt for the smoother ride. Especially if you're gonna go touring. The 390 is only for petrol heads who want to feel their arms poping out of their sockets. The adrenaline rush is awesome but its no substitute for refinement.

The d200/390 mirrors have three tiny screws at the point where the mirror hinges on its joint, you need to expose the rubber cover to see these (normally rear view mirrors just have a ball joint which wears out over time and the mirror doesnt stay put in its set position) Once the mirror is tightened at the handle bar, you can make adjustments at the mirror end, and if you find moving the mirror too tight or loose.. then you adjust these screws accordingly.. once you find your spot then just tighten back these screws so that the mirror doesn't lose its position easily at speeds/bumps on the roads.
I am not sure if the rc mirrors have these screws. Also if possible try to see if the mirror can be moved a little back (like on regular bikes where you loosen the nut at the handle and adjust the mirror stem either forward or backward).. i found that moving it a little back (the guys at svc just bolt on the mirrors.. its up to us to adjust it to our requirement) on my d200 helps with much better visibility.

I can't believe I did not try this in nearly two months!!! The RVMs are indeed adjustable! Thanks for your help! I had tried moving them with one hand previously and since they didn't budge, I assumed they are fixed.

As suggested, cupping mirror from the back using both palms and applying pressure moves them in an assuring way. So now both my mirrors are prefect!! And they are rock solid with no vibrations whatsoever.

Can you check if there are tiny screws at the mirror to stem joint ? If so loosen them a little and then adjust.. using force might damage them. That's how its on the dukes.

Can someone confirm whether the tankcap on rc is same as pulsar/duke? I used to park my duke outside and because of shitty cap, water used to go in and ultimately fuel pump got damaged.Dont want to see this happen again. Is there any alternative to pulsars tank cap?

Haha.. I'm glad to help.. I actually took my bike to service centre specifically for this purpose. Can't believe this!! The showroom guys were telling that the mirrors are not adjustable and are set for racing stance. Damn them!!

This is due to the fact that we are afraid of our new bikes and that we might break anything; and hence, we stop trying to do anything new.

The other thing is that we are used to the smoothness and the rotate-ability of the mirrors of our "normal" bikes.

That's all. There's nothing to fear bro.

I'm happy that I made the right choice any day for choosing the RC!!

Nope. No screws. It's just like fixed on a head of something..

The fuel cap is the same on duke's and RCs but the RC fuel cap is better with less gap. I am looking to get it for my bike too. But pulsar fuel cap is different. It has more screws (they may appear the same but duke cap is 3 screw and pulsar cap is 4 screw with different position of screws).
